Alvarez dropped the 155 middleweight charade, moved back to his junior middleweight division, and Golovkin and his camp are still onto his nuts.its amazing how the story is starting to change. Initially it was almost 100 percent of people slating canelo (as they should do) for dumping his belt to avoid fighting after calling him out. And yet somehow, the most hardcore ggg haters on this site have managed to twist this whole saga to make out golovkin is responsible for the fight not happening. Now i see more and more people typing this 'golovkins avoiding canelo' **** and believing it, absolute garbage, some of you should think for yourselves instead of believing the propaganda that these obsessed, bitter and twisted haters pump out.
Golovkin got the belt that he was clamoring for, is still sitting on his perch at 160, and yet can't keep Alvarez's **** out of his mouth. If he'd stuck by his word, and put his energy into doing everything he had to to fight middleweights and up (rather than going down to 147 for an opponent, dragging said fighter all the way up to 160, and trying to get the boxing public to sell it as a legit fight), the tables wouldn't have turned on him.Comment

not reallyLet's see what happens, but I don't think this is a Hagler vs. Leonard type of situation. Canelo won't be coming back from 3 years of retirement. GGG is not fighting guys like Mugabi, Hearns, and Duran. Hagler wouldn't be Hagler without those wins over Hearns and Duran. What would GGG be without Canelo? The same as Marvin Hagler would be without Hearns, Duran, and Leonard!
Hagler knocked off the murderer's row of middleweight fighters before taking on the Duran/Hearns/Leonard fights.
Golovkin has still yet to have a real fight as a professional.Comment

Golovkin is the one who has already gone to the public with calling $3m to fight Alvarez (basically double what anyone who has ever fought him, sans Floyd/Cotto/Khan) a bull**** offer, yet he's never made more than $2m on a pro fight ever. What is better of two for you? Act like a Canelo's accountant and allow him to avoid fight with GGG(which is reasonable if Canelo doesn't care about fans and worries only about money) or ask for mega fight that everyone wants to see and most importantly everyone deserves to see. Tell me this please? Not to mention he was throwing the word like "we dont F*** around" and etc. By the way, he is making fun of you and yet you worrying about his pocket like he will die from hunger if he fights with GGG. No disrespect bro, just my opinion.
If you want to talk about counting someone else's money, how about you start with GolovkinComment

Alvarez vacated the one piece of the middleweight title that that he even kind of held, in addition to returning to 154; it's not his problem that Golovkin is unwilling to do what Bernard Hopkins did and re-establish the lineage.
Take short money on a fight for the first time in his ****ing life, fight Billy Joe Saunders, and "get handed" the lineal title, since he seems to enjoy being awarded belts.Comment

Alvarez never fought over 155lbs, and had no intention to fight over 155lbs in the near future either.
The WBC being themselves (the moment that Miguel Cotto chose not to pay the fees, let alone any talk of actually facing a mandatory challenger, the bet should've been stripped), they put the sanctioning fee ahead of the organization.
To make things easier, Cotto and Alvarez are both junior middleweight, and thus miscategorized by ESPN, and a lot of other sources.Comment

it is real simple.....
1) lineage, is nothing but utter wank
2) Canelo is obviously not even a middleweight, let alone the best middleweight
3) casual fans are ******, especially the gay fanboii type
4) ESPN rankings are also absurd, and completely irrelevant
* the middleweight titlist's are Golovkin, Jacobs, Saunders
* the middleweight champion is Golovkin
* Canelo is an entitled unprofessional JMW, who beat lil old 153lb Cotto
* Cotto is ONLY mentioned, because he has not fought since Canelo..... he is obviously not a middleweight either, and he will never again fight a middleweight opponent, at any weightComment
