Damn Isaac, get out more and take a deep breath. Get a reality check.
Golovkin and his camp backed out of the Ward fight, Lara fight, and Saunders fight over money, so don't embarrass yourself.

The fact that you think that Golovkin should justifiably go from earning less than $2m per fight to taking 50% off of an Alvarez fight (an amount that's likely fivefold one the money is counted) is laughable.

Do you think GGG deserves only two millions? **** no.

The split should be 60-40, 65-35... not too different from that. The weight should be 160 because canelo is already heavier than GGG.
Why split it anywhere near parity when Alvarez literally does more than 5 times the business than Golovkin does?

Does Golovkin only deserve $2m? probably not.

Does Golovkin deserve 35% off of the take on a Alvarez fight (between the live gate, the Mexico TV deal, and Alvarez's growing PPV audience, not to mention sponsors, you're likely talking about a net pot of near $30m)? **** no!

That's a ****ing $10m payday for Golovkin. $3m/$4m, plus the Germany/Europe TV rights to the fight is more than fair to Golovkin.

Beyond that, your weight justification is bull****; Alvarez is supposedly the bigger guy, yet he's the one who's happy to go down to 154, while Golovkin isn't even willing to move to 158. gtfoh.

You forgot the Eubank fight....that one broke over money too.

For who? Billy Joe Saunders went to the public with his understanding that Alvarez is more than ready to pay his price (while K2 openly lied about their offer).

Erislandy Lara already has had a few million dollar paydays, yet even the mention of anything even near that number has the entire K2 camp harping "he wants too much money".

Daniel Jacobs made $1.5m for the Quillin fight, Andre Ward has made near $2m for at least 4 fights now, and Golovkin is just starting to see those kinds of paydays.

            you played yourself

Please point to a single fight where Golovkin has ever taken short money

                lol.

In what world does Lemieux KO Lara within 6 rounds, when Lemieux's already been stopped by a guy in 7 rounds? gtfoh

Yes, Golovkin fits into the opponents group, just like Liam Smith currently is; at least Smith comes to the table with a TV broadcaster ready to put more money into the pot.

Golovkin is heading to the UK on Kell Brook's show for ****'s sake; Golovkin is traveling (late as heck, I may add) for a check, with Kell Brook taking home the upside on the friggin' PPV.

The heck with 85/15... cut Golovkin a check for for $3m, give K2 the Germany/EU TV rights to the fight, and tell Golovkin where/when to show up for the press commitments.
hold on, sergio beat pavlic, cotto beat sergio, alvy beat cotto.
according to espn, mw champs are 3g, bjs, jacobs.... alvy #1 mw, 3g #2 and cotto #3...wtf ?!?!?

                  my head is spinning.....

There's not a middleweight fighter on the planet who walks into the ring at 160lbs. Even Golovkin walks into the ring above 170lbs.

You look at the day of weights for most of the elite junior middleweights on the planet, and you'd clearly see that most of them come into the ring near 170lbs.

Additionally, Canelo and GGG are the same size. Canelo weighs more than GGG otuside the ring. But Virgil Hunter said Ward, even at 168, was a "scaled down light heavyweight" who weighs 200 pounds outside of the gym. GGG weighs around 170 outside the gym so you have a 30 pound weight difference in natural size. But now all you guys complaining GGG was too big for Floyd are b1tching about GGG-Ward? The hate and hypocrisy is insane.

The truth is things would have worked out exactly as they should have if Canelo wasn't scared. Ward, the "scaled down light heavyweight" who naturally weighs 200 pounds, stopped scaling down and went to fight the guy who is his size, Sergey Kovalev. Canelo was supposed to also stop scaling down, and fight the guy his size, GGG. The two natural middleweights, GGG and Canelo, fight. The two natural light heavyweights, Ward and Kovalev, fight.

Isn't that like, logical? Instead of the natural middleweight against the natural light heavyweight?

But you guys hate GGG and Kovalev more than anyone, so you hate that setup even though it's logical, because you're worried Kovalev will beat Ward, and you know GGG will beat Canelo. So the whole time it looked like Canelo would duck GGG, you deflected criticism, saying Canelo wouldn't really duck, you guys are just GGG fanboys. Now that the "fanboys" were right, and GGG ducked and even gave up his belt, you guys have new excuses.

It's pathetic. "Haters" doesn't even begin to describe it.
Virgil Hunter said that an Andre Ward, sitting at the house and not doing ****, could get up to 200lbs without much issue; in that very same conversation, Hunter also said that Ward, in the gym and just keeping in shape, is now in the mid 180s (without the pressures of fight camp).

The fact that Golovkin is so leery of giving up a single pound, makes it absolutely clear that his fight cap weight is basically 165 when he keeps in camp year round.

Sit Golovkin at home for three months and watch his weight fall to ****.
