Additionally, Canelo and GGG are the same size. Canelo weighs more than GGG otuside the ring. But Virgil Hunter said Ward, even at 168, was a "scaled down light heavyweight" who weighs 200 pounds outside of the gym. GGG weighs around 170 outside the gym so you have a 30 pound weight difference in natural size. But now all you guys complaining GGG was too big for Floyd are b1tching about GGG-Ward? The hate and hypocrisy is insane.

The truth is things would have worked out exactly as they should have if Canelo wasn't scared. Ward, the "scaled down light heavyweight" who naturally weighs 200 pounds, stopped scaling down and went to fight the guy who is his size, Sergey Kovalev. Canelo was supposed to also stop scaling down, and fight the guy his size, GGG. The two natural middleweights, GGG and Canelo, fight. The two natural light heavyweights, Ward and Kovalev, fight.

Isn't that like, logical? Instead of the natural middleweight against the natural light heavyweight?

But you guys hate GGG and Kovalev more than anyone, so you hate that setup even though it's logical, because you're worried Kovalev will beat Ward, and you know GGG will beat Canelo. So the whole time it looked like Canelo would duck GGG, you deflected criticism, saying Canelo wouldn't really duck, you guys are just GGG fanboys. Now that the "fanboys" were right, and GGG ducked and even gave up his belt, you guys have new excuses.

It's pathetic. "Haters" doesn't even begin to describe it.
    July 8, 2015:

“GGG is now clearly the ‘A’ side yet Ward still would want to dictate terms, which makes no sense,” Loeffler said to ESPN. “GGG would fight Ward on a 50-50 basis, the best 160-pounder versus the best 168-pounder [at] 164 [and] a 50-50 split on all proceeds. But it seems like Ward needs more tuneup fights.”

    July 23, 2015:

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds...

"We don't need Ward. Golovkin doesn't need Ward. Dawson needed Ward. The fact that he made Dawson come down to 168 kind of irks me. When [Golovkin's promoter] Tom [Loeffler] said 50-50, and me and Tom talked about it, he meant 50-50 all the way across. That was the reason why I said 50-50 and 50-50 means 164 - right in the middle. If they want the fight, come to what Golovkin is aking for," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com.

"I don't think Ward should have a problem making 164. He talked about fighting Mayweather at 160. Why is he talking about fighting Mayweather at 160 if he's not willing to fight Gennady at 164?"

"If they thought that it was in their best interest to fight Gennady at 164, then fight him - or else they can go about their way. For us, Golovkin is the A-fighter in this situation and I don't care what anybody says. It's not like Golovkin is asking him to come down to 160, like [Golovkin] was going to do for Mayweather and go to 154. We're asking him to meet us halfway. If he doesn't want to, that's okay - we'll just go on to the next one."

And if Ward holds the line at 168?

"Then tell Ward to go somewhere else. We don't need Ward. That would be my response to Tom, if Tom came to me with that," Sanchez said.

Both kicking themselves? GGG was ready to fight Canelo last year. The delays having been coming from Canelo only.

Do you think Kell Brook is going to beat GGG? I'm a big fan of Brook's, but I can't see him winning. Not saying he can't win, but I'll be surprised if he does. It won't surprise me at all if Smith beats Canelo though.

Let's see what happens, but I don't think this is a Hagler vs. Leonard type of situation. Canelo won't be coming back from 3 years of retirement. GGG is not fighting guys like Mugabi, Hearns, and Duran. Hagler wouldn't be Hagler without those wins over Hearns and Duran. What would GGG be without Canelo? The same as Marvin Hagler would be without Hearns, Duran, and Leonard!

Maybe Ward will be lucky and do 150k.
Why is it that Bumlovkinites always have to bring up Mayweather and Ward in a Bumlovkin thread?

              Penis envy?

And he didn't give Leonard a catchweight either.
Bumlovkin is nowhere near the level of a Marvin Hagler. Plus, Alvarez IS the champion here - NOT Bumlovkin..

75/25 is MORE than fair. Bumlovkin needs Alvarez. Alvarez doesn't need Bumlovkin at all...

You're too dumb. Wanna try with a poll?

Who is paying GGG that money? a fight against Canelo can sell like 1 million PPVs. At 75 dollars that is 75 million dollars.
If Bumlovkin is SOOOO popular then tell us why did the Lemieux PPV FAIL to do more than 100k PPV buys?
