Ricky was the last true person Floyd fought that never stopped pursuing him and attacking, and after that fight, you realized why people stop. The more you push against Floyd, the more he makes you pay for doing so and he can and will hurt you and people know that, but to negate him and his greatness/ability, they just act as if he's this coward or inept guy simply because he's ok with just winning by decision. Maidana fought dirty yeah, but he didn't keep pushing like Hatton did. Even Berto talked about it on The Breakfast Club, people just do not wanna be embarrassed following him and losing via KO.

It was a light sparring session that cost motherf**kers $100 bucks to watch. The fight was trash and both of those f**kers put forth lame ass performances.

One was just more lame than the other.
It takes a lot more than a lame performance to neutralize an ATG like Pacquiao, it may have not been pleasing to the eyes for most although I heavily enjoyed it but that was high level stuff from Mayweather.

I know, I found pleasure in seeing Manny miss like an amateur after years of hearing his fans talk trash online and in person. That was a joy to see

And the thing is, one of the more intriguing factors of the fight is that Pacquiao never fought anyone who's looked to control him in the clinch, utilize head control, reroute him with check hooks. They express displeasure with Mayweather's performance but ignore the fact that he did things no one else has done to Manny.

Thats true. It was really a simple tactic and is actually a veteran tactic that few men today have tried to apply against Pacquiao. Ali and Holyfield used clinching and infighting way more excessively than Floyd ever has and they are considered legends. I think Floyd gave a masterful performance on that night but I would have preferred to see more combinations from him. However, I took his age into consideration and realized he's not going to be fighting like he did at 25.

Alright, can't really argue that. Floyd defensively is, IMO, the best ever from that aspect. He's simply phenomenal defensively and did make Manny look lost and timid. So credit where credit is due.

That said from an offensive standpoint both bordered on putrid.

I dont know. Pac was pretty shot. He got iced by marquez and looked burnt out. Fighters with his style burn out at his age historically

Imo the fight should have never happened.floyd waited way too long to finally fight pacman.
On top of that , he took an illegal iv to mask something.
