I wouldn't call GGG over hyped. He's never beaten an elite level opponent. But I ask myself, could he possibly have looked any better against the kind of guys he's been flattening since he came over to the States?
Brook definitely is underrated at this site. He's a product of the Ingle gym in Sheffield. The Ingles have been turning out world champions and genuine world class contenders since the days when UK boxers were looked upon as cannon fodder at world level - Naseem Hamed, Johnny Nelson, Junior Witter, Herol Graham, etc.
Combine that old school know-how with the scientifically based S&C and dietary advice he's been getting from the sports institute at Hallam University, and you can bet, Kell will be as fit and strong as he possibly can be at 160.
The unknown factors are - just how much stronger and more powerful is he going to be at 160 compared to 147, and how much speed is the extra weight going to cost him?
We won't know the answers to those questions till the bell rings on Sept 10th. I'm really looking forward to finding out.
