GGG has his big money fight now, vs Brook in the UK, and more big fights over here could follow on from that. Provided he beats Kell, of course.

I can't help thinking, Golovkin would have been better basing himself in the UK, with Eddie Hearn, than in the US after leaving Germany. If the UK fans had taken him to their hearts he would have earned a fortune from Sky PPV fights by now.

"This my style ... Breeetish style, UK style ... real fighting ... I love this." Lol.
Canelo just wanted Cotto! The belt didn't really make a difference! It was just icing on the cake! Just like GGG still wants Canelo...real bad! The belt was never the real goal. Real goal (gold) is a fight with Canelo Alvarez!

Which of those categories does 155 fall into?

155>154. If Canelo steps on the scale against Smith at 155, will he be allowed to win that belt?

technicalities....why have weight classes then ?

160 begins mw div. fluff the numbers if you must.

He also wanted the honour of being able to call himself a 2 division world champion, and he got it.

But unfortunately for him, because of the ******ity of the people advising him, he also has the dishonour of calling his mando into the ring after a fight and promising to fight him next, than handing over his belt without backing those words up.

Err ... no. 160 ends the MW division. It begins at 154.

You're the one fluffing numbers, trying to say more than 154 is JMW. Like I said, if Canelo weighs155 for Smith, he is overweight. Period.

Quite honestly, division limits are in place to try to avoid scenarios like this where fighters try to manipulate weights.

Lastly, you say 160 is the beginning of the division. That is simply untrue. The MW division begins where the JMW division ends, which is at 155...
