if frampton naturally outgrew the division, and walked around at a heavier weight than crawford, then yeah why not. No, fights like this are whats bringing boxing back to the mainstream, theres a real buzz about this fight in the UK, cause over here people know how good brook is.

brook can be as confident as he cares to be, or eat more food, lift weights, whatever. i don't doubt that brook thinks he can win. i can be firm in my belief in my ability to fly, but when i jump out of a window is it really going to help me?

his confidence isn't going to make his bones any larger, or his chin any better. it won't give him the 3-4 inches he'd need to be able to clinch golovkin and lean on him on the ropes, the way he did to 5'6" shawn porter.

brook's going to get hit by jab #1 and realize that he jumped up two weight classes to fight boxing's best puncher in his own division. this fight is a mismatch, and will have a result that's in line with how mismatched kell brook is against a p4p middleweight with knockout power.

The fight is a mismatch. I rate Brook & think he's a top fighter, but he's bitten off way more than he can chew here. He is undefeated, but he could have easily lost twice (Jones 1 and Porter). Only way he wins is if GGG doesn't train or breaks his hand in 1st round.

Oh and for those asking about current odds, the high street bookies in the UK are currently 5/1 Brook and 1/6 for GGG (you can get 1/5 on internet exchanges). For my American friends that's +500 Brook and -600 for GGG (-500 available online on betting exchanges).

No there's a buzz over there because you guys are delusional, Golovkin will knock Brook out in 2 and it will mean nothing. These extreme mismatches are why ufc is worth 5 billion and no boxing promoter could get 200 million for their company.

Yeah, but his stature has grown too much to take that type of stay busy fight again. Remember, that fight was in a very small venue. Golovkin sells out stadiums now. You don't pass on a stadium fight which will grow your appeal in big european markets and make you millions to go fight Sabastian Heiland...and get just as much if not more criticism for that anyway.
