Ughh stop it man, this is a WWE type event meant to sell tickets and it is fitting that the predictable result of GGG knocking Brook out might as well be scripted.
Brook does not have the skill set to deal with a bigger puncher who is also probably the better skilled fighter. Beating Shawn Porter does not in any way mean you should be in the ring with Gennady Golovkin, let alone challenge him. I like Brook but he is selling his 0 here and I do wonder if he'll have the motivation to remain in the sport after this. Khan has been talking about MMA and pretty much anything but boxing since the Canelo payday.
All the things that have gotten Brook to 36-0 will be taken away from him in this fight, his size and length, his power and probably his quickness too judging by his weight. New England was spot on with his assessment of this sham, Brook can believe all he wants but the reality is he is not equipped for the task at hand.Last edited by NaijaD; 08-17-2016, 07:46 AM.Comment

A mismatch is a mismatch regardless of "names" ...... They could make a Wilder-Ward fight tomorrow and it will probably do great numbers and everything but it wouldn't hide the fact that its a mismatch fight that should not be happening.Comment

You do realize Golovkin's mismatches make more money than most other boxer's right? You can have a lot of criticism about GGG but the moment you say he is not a ticket seller or money maker in boxing relatively, you prove that you are ******. Money is made by spectator friendly fights, not boring ones. Referees needs to crack down on clinching done by boxers 100 times in one fight. Ones that is done, most fights will be entertaining again and people will actually be more likely to waste one hour of their life watching a fight, not a hug fest with 3 punches per round. No there's a buzz over there because you guys are delusional, Golovkin will knock Brook out in 2 and it will mean nothing. These extreme mismatches are why ufc is worth 5 billion and no boxing promoter could get 200 million for their company.
You care more about race than boxing.Comment

The David LeMew that go knocked out by Rubio? The David LeMew that go decisioned by Alcine? If you actually believe that LeMew is a quality fighter, you're damn near all by yourself there. Just you and LeMews family.
We'll fight anyone from 154-168, as long as HBO approves, as long as we dictate all terms, as long as we get the lions share of the money, and as long as your name isn't Andre Ward.
Kicking 35 in the arse and not one quality opponent yet and no concrete plan to fight one in the future.Last edited by just the facts; 08-17-2016, 10:03 AM.Comment
