yeah true, although the noises made on here is that he would have got more credit if he fought some super middleweight bum than brook.

NO it isn't. You just had the odds posted. 7-1 is the same as Algieiri was against Manny factoring in his record and defeat of SHawn Porter-who is at best the 4-6th best ww.

If you like GGG or Brook, cool. Just stop pretending this fight is anything other than a mismatch designed to get GGG another easy KO.

Yes he would get more respect for going up to fight decent SMW rather than bringing a top 5 WW up to 160.

          You can't understand why?

he made a mistake by fighting a welterweight, yes. lost a lot of respect from a lot of people.

a p4p ranked middleweight should never fight a welterweight who is not a bonafide legend, p4p himself, etc.

you'd better be roberto f#cking duran, kell.

GGG is the logical pick so im not saying the bookies are wrong, but brooks going to give him a lot of problems

hes not had brook at gunpoint and told him he has to fight him, brooks moved up himself and is risking his '0' to fight golovkin cause he believes he can beat him. theres no need for him to take the fight if he doesnt think he can compete at middleweight

brook can be as confident as he cares to be, or eat more food, lift weights, whatever. i don't doubt that brook thinks he can win. i can be firm in my belief in my ability to fly, but when i jump out of a window is it really going to help me?

his confidence isn't going to make his bones any larger, or his chin any better. it won't give him the 3-4 inches he'd need to be able to clinch golovkin and lean on him on the ropes, the way he did to 5'6" shawn porter.

brook's going to get hit by jab #1 and realize that he jumped up two weight classes to fight boxing's best puncher in his own division. this fight is a mismatch, and will have a result that's in line with how mismatched kell brook is against a p4p middleweight with knockout power.

a confident fighter is a dangerous fighter. Also i dont think enough has been made about GGG fighting brook in england. That makes a big big difference fighting someone in their own country, crowd will be behind brook. Hearn may organise a crooked ref too, certainly will have crooked judges so GGG HAS to put brook away before the 12 and cant risk getting wobbled or the ref will call it off in a flash.
