has GGG made a mistake picking brook?

yes, it's a lose-lose situation for him
He loses from his reputation either way cause he dragged up a welterweight (yeah a big one but a welterweight)
if he somehow manages to lose then basically everybody will be laughing at him and his career is over, he will become a joke while Brook goes to heaven.
Imagine having the reputation of a "the most feared man" , the most ducked one and etc... and then having a welterweight beat you.
Brook won't win though. Just because he eats so much that he will weigh maybe even more he won't be a true middleweight, just an out of shape, fat welterweight who will get slaughtered by GolovkinComment

Because GGG has thunder in his gloves. Brook doesn't have the legs to stay away from GGG for 12 rounds, nor does he have the power to keep GGG honest (how is Brook going to keep GGG off of him when not even David Lemieux could who is a much bigger puncher)... At some point Brook will feel the pressure from the crowd to engage and he'll get into a fight, and that will be that.
I don't think it will be a great fight, but it will certainly be a big event. Then GGG fight a couple of nobodies, and then in May or September maybe, maybe a Canelo fight (which he'll also win without even having to dig deep)... I actually think a Jacob's fight is much more competitive than a Canelo fight.
GGG is in a tough spot, there is really no one huge for him to fight besides Canelo(and that's not even a 50-50 fight)...
The best thing for GGG would be to move up to 175 in the next couple of years or try to meet Ward somewhere in the middle.Comment

fair enough. if he gets brook, canelo, jacobs, saunders and eubank jr (if his daddy lets him fight) on his CV, then thats a ****ing solid CV in my opinion, so i dont think he needs to move up.Because GGG has thunder in his gloves. why is fighting a 36-0 fighter with no blueprint on how to beat him, in front of his fans, hometown judges/ref, who is pretty much the same size (stone heavier in fact at the moment) not a risk?Comment
