according to roach & pacs team he weighs 142 walking around. also u have to take into account what kind of meal did he have on that night?
going by team pac, pac is actually a 140 pounder. 147 was never his most comfortable weight.

i would bet my money on roach knowing pacs weight vs arum LOL

roach said that they weren't fighting crawford anyway not due to weight but due to crawfords "mayweather style"
But Arum's knowledge of Manny's weight wasn't part of my point. Just saying that Manny himself, as the person knowing the most about his own weight, could still in theory have decided on his own accord that he personally did not want to go down to 140. (In spite of anyone else's belief that he could make that weight)

I guess this puts to bed the idea that Manny "should be fighting at 140".

I doubt Pacquaio can make 140'comfortably. He's not been there for 7 years, I don't care if he allgedly used to "eat 10 million calories a day" to get to 147. If you haven't been at a weight for 7 years it means something.

of course.......boxing is about "what have u done for me lately" lately crawford has earned the right to defend his titles at 140. also 140 is pacs best weight supposedly.

also there is the issue with konz and roach PERSONALLY steering pac away from crawford because of his hard style. u can pretend on weight all u want but the truth is there "konz" told manny no to crawford. roach said the same exact thing.......

Pacquiao already sealed his legacy as an atg, 3× fighter of the year and fighter of the decade. He has nothing more to prove, at this point he is just cashing out. You should be goading fighters like keith thurman and danny garcia into fighting the best fighters available. They wouldnt even have to switch weight classes for that. But for whatever reason you think manny still has to prove himself while the young lions should take the easy fights lol what part of the game is that?
Weight a minute! Are you guys now retracting your stance that Pacquiao is actually a junior welterweight as opposed to a welterweight? So you guys don't think he aint getting KOs because he is actually fighting at a higher weight than he is supposed to anymore?

You and I are on the same side in this dispute, but even I can tell you're talking out your ass now. Everything you just said is complete and utter gibberish.

dude........u can believe that load crap if u want. manny was redirected to vargas because of crawfords risk level. (konz & roach already said it) also manny himself said that he's coming back for money because he supports tons people. he wasn't coming back for a risky fighter that could beat him up. in so many words, he eluded to exactly that.......

Not defending Pac, because he has made a habit out of this.....
..... but Crawford was never going to land that fight by dictating to Manny.

Not in this day and age, and certainly not at this stage in Pac's career.

In fact, not sure if I believe that Crawford refused to budge on the weight.

the real question for me is why didnt terrence crawford fight manny at 147lbs?

he's taller and has a longer reach than pacquiao, certainly has the talent to compete with any welter not named floyd and is better suited and will eventually end up fighting at 147lbs.

this seems like a coordinated company line talking point.

arum saving future fights for fear of economic viability considering his competition with al haymon.

Crawford having this ridiculous nonsensical stance of only fighting pacquiao at 140lbs when he's basically bigger than pacquiao im not buying, at all.

                      it doesnt make sense.

it seems like that's the talking point they are putting out there.

crawford having a take it or leave it stance in regards to only fighting pacquiao at 140lbs MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER....

unless of course he really doesnt.
