We have James Toney P4P #2 getting utterly embarrassed by Roy Jones.

Julio Cesar Chavez P4P #1 schooled by Whitaker. Could argue Chavez wasn't prime.

Mike Tyson P4P #1 beaten up and stopped by Douglas.

Nonito Donaire P4P #3 schooled by Rigondeaux.

Shane Mosley P4P #1 dropped and outboxed by Forrest. Wouldn't call that a schooling myself.

Any other candidates? What was the worst?

Kovalev or Ward may be amongst the list soon who knows.

when was the earliest year ring magazine did official top 10 p4p list?

    mid 80s?

That fight is the best example of two things; Toney's poor footwork and his poor ring IQ. I mean, talk about having absolutely no plan B.

Once It became apparent that Jones was 10 levels above him Toney just began winding up a loaded up hail mail right hand and hoping for the best and completely missing, constantly crossing his feet over in the process leaving himself completely out of position.

I remember when Roy Jones would blast him with 6 clean punches and Toney would stand their looking ****** talking to Roy and Gill Clancy said on commentary "you don't win fights by talking" reminds me of our convo abojt Toney-Broner comparison.
Get clocked clean in the face, shake your head like nothing happened.

Hey, it works for some fighters.

Mosley was top 3 P4P on every list you can think of, go look it up.

Roy vs James. That was a flawless performance.
