Point is that Golovkin is doing what he routinely does, being 165 pounds at the 30 day weigh-in and on route to being 159 pounds at the official fight weigh-in and about 172/173 pounds on fight night. On the flip-side, no one knows what weight Brook will be or how his body will perform because he doesn't know because he has absolutely no experience making the Middleweight range or performing at that weight.

More proof that Golovkin is risk adverse and is only willing to stay in his comfort zone. Greatness will not be achieved that way.

GGG was ready to fight Ward at 168 back in 2013, but Ward wasn't ready for him. And in any case, HBO told them both that there wasn't enough fan interest in either of them back then to make it a worthwhile match-up.

GGG was ready to fight Froch in the UK, at 168lbs, which is something Ward wouldn't do. He also wanted to fight Quillin when Quillin was still unbeaten and highly rated.

Trust me, GGG will take risky fights when the time and the money is right. And I have a feeling that Kell Brook could turn out to be a riskier opponent than you and many others believe.

It's too bad Cotto turned Brook down, that would've been a very interesting fight.

The flip side to that is something Kell Brook's trainer, Dominic Ingle, and his strength and conditioning coach at Sheffield Sports Academy mentioned: Kell had to severly cut his calorie intake for weeks during training for fights at 147, which affected his ability to train hard. Without worrying about the weight, he can eat properly and train harder for Golovkin, which will make his fitness level higher.

We both know that when Team Golovkin was asked about a Martinez fight in 2012, they responded....Tom Loeffler, who helps run the Klitschko brothers' promotional company, told me that K2 wants to do Golovkin-Martinez, but down the line a bit. First, the company would like to whet the U.S. fans' appetites by showcasing Golovkin on HBO.

Yes this was when Martinez was #3 P4P and at the top of the Middleweight Division.

We both know Martinez, nor any other boxer, would fight unknown Golovkin instead of Chavez Jr, Murray and Cotto.

We both know that Ward fought only once and defended his 168 pound title once in 2013 due to shoulder surgery and we both know that GGG wasn't going to move up to 168 and Ward wasn't going to move down to 160 for Golovkin.

Ward didn't need to fight Froch in the UK because he actually beat Froch and took Froch's title in 2011 unlike Golovkin chasing after a retiring Froch 4 yrs later.

Fact remains that Golovkin has yet to take any risks and only talks about what he would do, would have done and would have fought. Let us know when he actually does.

Any fight can become riskier than predicted but that doesn't change the fact that in this fight Brook is the one that is taking the risk, while Golovkin and his camp just continue to talk about risk.

The guy dehydrates 11lbs it's not like he's Mayweather/Pacquiao small for his division, they only put on 2/3 lbs after the weigh in. The guy isn't a tiny MW.

Brook goes up 9lbs to 156 after the weigh in and he's a huge WW, Golovkin goes up 11lb and he's a small MW? Just doesn't make sense.

"He's more like a 154" but has never fought below 160 in his entire 10 year professional career, weigh's in at 159 and show up on fight as a Light Heavyweight.
