A real boxing fan would admit that was a lame b1tch-move, not use it to justify another lame b1tch-move.

Why do you refuse to hold a grown man responsible for his words/actions?

It's prizefighting, nobody passes on an offer that sweet. It's not like he's fixating on a guy 15lbs smaller like a well known p4p diva

What the *** is 155? Oh yeah. It's a bogus weight class with one fighter.

Dislike GGG all you want. You think he's over rated? Fine.

But why defend 155? That ***** has to to go. 154 is already a catchweight between ww and mw.

Again. WTF is 155? How can you defend Canelo for this bull*****?

          because, he said he would.....

Golovkin Would Fight Ward at 168 and Canelo at 154.....

Loeffler said that Golovkin would have no problem fighting at a catchweight against Alvarez, who fought Lara in a 155-pound bout.

We’ve always said that if there is a compelling fight, Gennady would move up or down, we’ve talked about moving up to 168 for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. because that would be a pay-per-view fight and if it’s Canelo, then I’m sure that we could work out a catchweight if he wanted to work out a catchweight and if it’s in his best interest. So that would certainly be a pay-per-view fight,” said Loeffler.

There wouldn’t be any issues for us to come down to fight Canelo. There would still be a title on the line for Gennady because he would be fighting under 160, so he would be able to defend the titles at 156 or whatever you have the weight be. But Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo. I wouldn’t say it would be at 154 but certainly, given that Canelo fought his last fight at 155, then you could say that Gennady would certainly be willing to come down in weight to make the Canelo fight.

            • The ONLY relevant facts are.....

              * Golovkin prepares to fight at 160
              * Brook prepares to fight at 147, he can make weight, but it's tough

There is clearly a 10lb(+) difference in optimal fighting weight.

No need for the bull**** artists to spin it any further.

Yes, you hold HBO accountable and do not watch. I haven't watched a Stevenson fight in a while. I didn't watch the Ward/brand BS this week. I still watch other cards, fox, espn, soleo boxeo etc.

GGG's next 2-3 fights will be crap. Same as Canelo. Each fight will be 80/20-90/10 mismatches where Canelo or GGG look great to setup the Sept 2017 fight.

Brook is there for the same reason Kahn fought canelo-big name with no chance to win. Please lets not act Like Brook-whose 1 quality win is Porter-is a tough fight.

This isn't a case where the best WW has cleaned out the division and is going up like SRL/Hagler or Floyd/Canelo. Brook very well could lose to thurman, spence , kahn, or bradley.
Seeming as there is no written contract then I expect HBO have as little expectation of this fight happening as the rest of us and especially given what has transpired this summer. And in the next year Golovkin will have at least 2 mandatories to deal with - hopefully Jacobs will be one of them.

Hypocrite that by his own standards is disrespecting boxing. The past year he has really shown his true colours, the ducking of Ward and fighting WW's. Boxings biggest joke atm.

It upsets you that both Canelo and Ward ducked GGG but Brook, who is the smallest of the three had the balls to face GGG?

Tell Canelo and Ward to step their game up and stop being such disgraces.
