But he had no business fighting at 147. That is the type of **** that makes your career shorter...fighting in in a weight class that you have to kill yourself to make. when you are young, it could give you an advantage temporarily, but as you get older that is the type of thing that ruins your health and shaves years off your career.

Golovkin is 165, 30 days out like he normally is. Yeah, let's diss a boxer who has self discipline and fights in his natural weight class....
    Brook - 147 to 156 fight night weight = 9lbs
    Golovkin - 160 to 171 fight night weight = 11lbs

You know that HBO isn't likely going to approve any tough fights for GGG between now and Canelo. Just 2-3 tuneups, the same thing you have been killing Ward for doing before Kov.
GTFOH! This business about HBO protecting GGG is pure crap. Golovkin doesn't need protecting from anyone and is looking to fight the best opponents he can.

You can't compare Kell Brook to Brand and HBO had no part in making or funding this fight anyway. It's a Matchroom/Sky PPV show.

What many are saying is that Brook is bigger than most welterweights, guys like Tim Bradley, Danny Garcia, Robert Guererro, Andre Berto (although not sure about Thurman and Porter) - which he is
Of course hell it matters, on record Bradley has said that he's gone as high as 180+ between camps, so he should be fighting Kovalev? hell no, one punch from the Krusher and Bradley is in coma.

Yes, you hold HBO accountable and do not watch. I haven't watched a Stevenson fight in a while. I didn't watch the Ward/brand BS this week. I still watch other cards, fox, espn, soleo boxeo etc.

GGG's next 2-3 fights will be crap. Same as Canelo. Each fight will be 80/20-90/10 mismatches where Canelo or GGG look great to setup the Sept 2017 fight.

Brook is there for the same reason Kahn fought canelo-big name with no chance to win. Please lets not act Like Brook-whose 1 quality win is Porter-is a tough fight.

This isn't a case where the best WW has cleaned out the division and is going up like SRL/Hagler or Floyd/Canelo. Brook very well could lose to thurman, spence , kahn, or bradley.
GGG took step aside $ maybe bc he knew Cotto and Canelo would just vacate anyway - so why not get paid if you're not getting the fight with them regardless. and, Well, I guess we'll agree to disagree, I don't think GGG v. Brook is crap at all. Brook has not cleaned out the division, not by a long way. But, he's a big undefeated welterweight champion who can box and has a punch. I'd way rather see this fight than Eubank, Andy Lee, or most of the other top 10 ranked middles

            Irrelevant.

They are both going to be weighing in at 160 with a 10lb max rehydration limit on noon of fight day for this one.

I think u know more than professionals, I've seen a lot of vidz from fighters, trainers, reporters, newmedia who 95% all of them have said that stilystically and weight wise, Eubank would've been a bigger challenge than Brook, but I'm almost sure u know more than that people, so props and respect to your wisdom and knowledge.

you're completely misunderstanding my statement. I didn't say that guys should fight at their walking around weight, did I?
What I was saying is that, regardless as to whether Brook is "used to" fighting middleweights, he is bigger than most welterweights. GGG is not a big middle. the size difference, in and of itself, is not that great. Thats the point many were making

That's an awesome delusional statement. So the best happens to be a WW? How about you GTFOH.

Because that undefeated 147 champ isn't even top 147, hell, Bradley and Pacquiao would beat him easy time, Thurman and Spence would have a very high chance of beating him.

and that unproven 147 "undefeated champ" is going up 2 full classes to fight a guy whos destroying guys his own size, this **** ain't Duran vs Hagler by not even a slight margin.
