Fight for 50K again or whatever it was against Vargas. I get people saying Salido (won) the first fight and is a bigger draw, but Lomachenko has the belt and doesn't need Salido like Salido needs him. Fair would probably be 50/50 with Salido also getting the Mexican money, but I don't see that happening and now have the feeling that Salido will get left behind while Lomacenko goes and fights somebody like Vargas or Sosa.
Like who? Jason Sosa? You think HBO is going to pay for that? Salido is the only fight he can get on HBO. He better take a paycut or go back to Ukraine for a fight like Kovalev did for his last fight in Russia.

Can't blame Solido. He won the first fight, doesn't really need the rematch, and would probably lose the second fight bad, so he might as well ask for outlandish demands

50/50 is not outlandish. 60/40 is not outlandish. Salido is the draw, not Lomachenko.

You don't think HBO would want a unification fight between Lomachenko and Vargas? HBO is all in on Lomachenko imo.

I thought Berchelt was interim and next in line. He earned his shot. He beat..uh... When Martinez was champ, Miguel wouldn't let it go. Now Loma is champ and Miguel wants to step aside and fight Orlando. What changed his mind?

No I don't. Lomachenko isn't a big draw. Did you not see the ratings and attendance figures I posted with Loma compared to Salido? Sosa vs. Walters did less than Lomachenko vs. Martinez horrible numbers. Sosa's title win wasn't televised in the U.S. Why would they pay for two fighters nobody watches? HBO and Arum needs Loma to become a draw quick. He's getting paid over 800k a fight but bringing in Rigo ratings and can't sell arenas. Beating Salido will avenge his loss and make him a bigger name

edit: I thought you said Sosa not Vargas. He didn't mention Vargas as a potential opponent. He said Pedraza, Corrales, or Sosa
