It would do better than Sosa, Coralles, Pedraza, and Walters but not better than Salido. But they're offering Salido less than they offered Martinez. Vargas is a champ so he's gotta get more than Martinez.

Martinez was the champ at the time, so from that point of view I understand why he would be offered more than Salido. They could probably get Vargas for around the same as Martinez, but I bet it would do better numbers on TV and draw better than the Martinez fight.

Pretty simple kilmas if it's not 50/50 or 55/45 for salido then you guys are ducking point blank period, he holds a win against your guy even though was dirty vet moves, draws better at gate and ratings so have your man take pay cut to avenge his loss or keep ducking

I said around the same, not exactly the same. But regardless, what other fights is Vargas gonna take where he will get more money than Martinez did against Lomachenko? It's usually not about what you deserve, but about what you can get. That's what Salido needs to understand, do you think he can get more money in other fights than what Lomachenko's team is offering? If so, then fine, tell Loma to **** off and go fight somebody else for good money, but I don't see more lucrative fights out there for guys like Salido, Vargas, Sosa etc.

Maybe they should get more to fight Lomachenko, but they still aren't gonna beat his offers elsewhere, that's why Lomachenko has the leverage, that's what I've been trying to explain. Does that make sense? Sorry for rambling a bit.

Another instance of Arum's preferential treatment towards Lomachenko. Paying Lomachenko big money to beat bums, creates issues when it is time for Lomachenko to fight a better known opponent. Guys like Salido, and Walters, expect big money, if Lomachenko, who has no following, is getting 800,000 to beat up a bum. That's Arum's fault. No name boxer who values himself, is going to fight Lomachenko for chump change. Offering Walters 500,000 to fight Lomachenko was ridiculous when Walters is the action fighter between the two, and had beaten the bigger name. Salido, mugged Lomachenko already. He expects to be paid if they rematch. If you don't want to pay him, then move along to the next scrub you can pay your chump change to.

If it does around the same as Martinez why would HBO buy it? That fight was a ratings and attendance flop. Vargas vs. Salido is the leading FOTY. They can make more money fighting each other than they can make fighting Lomachenko. And do better ratings and attendance too. Lomachenko needs them and he really needs Salido to avenge that loss. Low-balling Salido like that looks like a duck in my book. I mean you admit Salido vs. Lomachenko would do the best ratings and the best attendance but you think he should get paid less than Martinez. That doesn't make sense. If the fight is making more money the fighters are supposed to make more money

I don't think the fight is going to happen, loma's camp didn't wanna talk about salido till just recently, probably they thought siri will cower because he's been in some wars and is getting old, but siri will never back down, so loma's camp is looking for a way out and trying to save some face.

I was trying to avoid saying that but even after I posted all the info showing how Salido is twice the draw Lomachenko is they still say Lomachenko deserves more money. Lomachenko does Rigo type numbers but nobody will suggest Rigo makes more than Frampton or LSC. I'm seriously starting to believe it's because Lomachenko is white. Thats a damn shame cuz if this was any other fighter they would be calling this a duck.

Foul! Salido is not so dirty, he did what he did because he was looking at an unqualified pro. Loma wasn't ready and he fell for everything Salido did until the 10 or 11 round. He was schooled in the rude arts, but that won't happen again. Loma is a good learner.
