Why were Floyd fans fine with Berto, but upset over Vargas?

Vargas has gotten a lot of controversial wins, do follow his career because you may be unaware of that. He also performed horribly against Bradley and although he bounced back well against Ali, Ali is poor defensively with a shitty chin.

Postol is better than anyone Golovkin has faced, I know exactly what I'm looking at.

Yep I've followed his career, saw his fights against Omotoso, and the 2 other russians, those were fights that could have gone either way. Those were years ago though, and he's clearly improved, and learned how to sit on his shots. He uses his right hand very well too as shown in teh Ali fight.

LOL Postol is better than anyone Golovkin has fought based on what? Take your own advice and "do follow his career", because he went life and death with Lundy, and beat a shot to pieces Matthyse coming out of a war with Ruslan, Molina, getting his eye messed up by Garcia.

I think maybe you are the one who are blind cuz I said I have a problem with Vargas + had a problem with Berto in this very thread as did at least one other person I saw. And go check out the thread from back when that fight got announced and you'll see even more people unapproving of Berto just like they are unapproving of Vargas.

Also I got no f#cking clue why people are still having pissing contests over Floyd vs Manny ****. Floyd has been retired almost a year now & Manny is seemingly semi-retired at this point. Who cares at this point. Both guys are f#cking legends & seen their best days.

Vargas is levels above Berto, but you see the same floyd fans that were defending this garbage fight get mad at Manny for fighting a world champion. Floyd fans have to be the biggest hypocrites ever. Would I rather see Crawford? DUH. But same could be said about Berto who is a worse opponent, and not even a world champion. This guy lost to Soto freaking Karass ffs. The *****s will start bringing up how Berto beat this guy and that guy YEARS ago before he was busted on PEDS, and wont bring up how he got destroyed by Guerrero, stopped by Karass, and has just looked awful.

More hypocrisy from Floyd fans are when they get upset over GGG bringing up Brook 2 weight classes, but then they always boast about how Floyd schooled Marquez after bringing him up 2 weight classes and cheating him on the scales.

I'm not a fanboy of either Pac or GGG, I just find Floyd fans to be the most nuthugging shameless fans in boxing.

Difference:

Andre Berto - fresh off one of his best overall performances, KO'ing the guy that broke Ortiz's jaw.

Jessie Vargas - A guy with a roughly 30% KO record, fresh off of basically exposing a hyped Sadam Ali after getting literally embarrassed by Tim Bradley across 11.9 rounds and getting handed Tim's leftovers that he should never have had to surrender in the first place.

Now, if I calculate which of these two fighters is actually more dangerous, I'm leaning towards Berto.

I'm clearly talking about the majority. Obviously there is a small percentage that criticizes both sides. You say go check the thread, but if I go check it, it wont be floyd fans criticizing him, it'll just neutral fans or floyd haters.

No, Postol is limited as a fighter but at the same time better than anyone Golovkin faced. I'm VERY confident in knowing what I'm looking at and I'm actually a fan of Golovkin's so run that somewhere else

Postol is one dimensional, can't fight without being the one on the backfoot has to be set to punch, and is a basic 1, 2 boxer. He's nothing special, and not even close to a Martin Murray, David Lemieux, Daniel Geale.
