I wonder how Crawford feels watching those guys fight on PBC in front of millions and cashing those big checks.

It is from Glaser. The number is completely made up. The guy does not work in boxing and his only distant connection is Don King, who also no longer has the connections to know.

With that being said, its a reasonable guess lol

Was a ****e card and left a bitter taste in peoples mouths cause the main event ******. People want to see world level fighters on these PPV cards unless theres some amazing megafight headlining. Is why ufc is thriving because you get world class matches throughout these cards. And dont tell me those on the crawford undercard were star attractions, yeah may be attractions for hardcore fans but not for others

Glaser? LMAO I'll wait for Dan Rafael or someone more credible to release the figures. Glaser is full of crap and literally just makes these numbers up. Been burned by that idiot too many times to take him serious.

            Crawford $1.3M, Postol $675k

The headliners alone were paid more then the profits generated. And that's not including the undercard which were paid 350k. If these PPV figures are true Arum lost money because the money he paid the fighters is more then the profits. And I'm sure there are other fees outside of just the half Cable takes like the venu so that 1.8m might even be closer to just 1m.

I think Arum said it needs to do 100k buys to pull a profit.
Cable doesnt take half, they take 35 percent and HBO 10. They made money. Sponsors, Vegas gate, international rights and HBO pays fee to show next week.

Crawford is actually worse than Lara who occasionally does rope a dope. I was actually expecting Thurman to clinch all day, but he rarely did and he and Porter made the fight extremely entertaining to watch. This Crawford guy is too scared to engage when it comes to Postol type opponents.

Again, he looks good against small guys and Dierry Jean opponents, though.

Rafael is not credible, he says the number HBO tells him.

“HBO has been dealing with early year budget restraints and by putting the Crawford-Postal fight card on pay-per-view, the public pays most of the fighters’ purses. Arum said the bout needs around 80,000 buys to become a break-even proposition,” said Pugmire at the latimes.com.

About two-thirds the buy rate for a certain "global superstar".
