Floyd, Ward, Rigo and Crawford?

James toney is my fav fighter ever... but the thread was about those 4 fighters and this era, yeah Floyd never did anything in the ring according to the posters here, I understand. and Ward cannot box outside of elbows and head butting. I guess for every new fighter that comes they will be downplayed because they weren't born earlier and cannot compare to the guys who were... nothing else to talk about.. thanks for the conversation, have a good one

How the hell is Ward downplayed? Most think he gives even Prime Roy a run for his money and most pick him to beat Toney. Just accept that he cannot box cleanly like a James Toney and be as effective. That is the truth. Maybe Toney wouldn't have dropped decisions to the lesser fighters in his career had he fought more like Ward but we would have been robbed out the best fighter to watch ever.

I didn't question Wards level, only his style and you get pissed. Will it make you feel better if I reveal I think GGG is boring also?

Frampton is the one fighter for Ireland I've ever supported.........I cheered when Rigo smashed Willie Casey. Go look at me in any thread laughing at people for cheering for fighters who were born on the same patch of dirt as them.

Cotto cornered Floyd, but he couldn't get on the inside from center ring. Rigo controls distance way better then Floyd, has better footwork and I never seen his back touch the ropes once.

Lomachenko belongs to that list. His technical ability is above Crawford's for sure.

We need to see his skill level against a top notch opponent. It's easy to run circles around the inferior. He's a "not yet" for me.

No Rigo does not have a Right Hook or Uppercut...>His only right hook is when he leaves his left arm fully extended to draw the opponent in then he shoots the hook...It doesn't work against anything but Bums so he hasn't used it since like his 8th fight. 2005 Floyd would beat anyone (p4p).Andre slower and doesn't have good reach, TC is great at all but he's little slower, his defense not as sharp as Floyd, Rigo... i'm sure Floyd would outsmart him, every Rigo's opponent played his game but against Floyd Rigo would play Floyd's game.He will need attack him and Floyd will counter him.
