Schooling a top 5 p4p fighter on the 12th fight is pretty average.

Hmmmm Rigo gets mentioned but not Frampton....Hmmmm Wonder why.....

Rigo gets dropped twice by a nobody....Defensive master. Frampton makes Quigg land in almost single digits...He didn't look good.....(Yes, Frampton ducked him, Not relevant to what I'm saying)

Where is BJS??? Dude almost never gets hits unless he is gassed and is way better defensively than Crawford...

Where is Lara? He should only have a draw against Molina who himself is a slick customer.

Rigo is one of the most skilled fighters of this era.
Okay then ....Linares> Everyone in the thread title... if we are going by ability and taking a punch doesn't matter, he is probably easily the most skilled fighter alive.

Crawford did however take it to burns on the inside...

for some reason all these guys mentioned have to do more than the rest but I guess that's how it is when u have skills...
Tall Poppy syndrome....People hate people who separate themselves from the herd. Still some fighters conveniently left out of this list and it's kinda obvious why.....

I'd take your comments seriously if both Quigg and Frampton didn't literally shat their pants every time Rigo's name gets mentioned.

Lol at trying to compare Frampton's skillset with Rigo's.

Mayweather is excellent defensively but average offensively and just isn't versatile. Anytime he tries to actually fight, he almost gets beat. Heck, Maidana roughed him up like a ***** and Maidana is a 5'7'', fat light welter with zero high level wins.

Ward is strong and tough on the inside but his "skills" are based on elbows, headbutts and clinching. Hardly a fluid, watchable fighter.

Rigo is possibly the best of the lot in terms of what he can do all round but he has only fought one world class opponent.

                Crawford is still proving himself.

So no, you can't even go and compare these guys to almost complete boxers/fighters/punchers in Duran, Leonard, Hearns and Hagler. Not to mention a generation which consisted of Oscar, Tito, Hopkins, Jones, Lewis, Holyfield and Tyson.

People need to stop making troll threads to get views.

Yeah you're right. Frampton has the far superior lead hand. It'd be ****** to say Rigo has that.

And Rigo shat himself everytime a fighter takes a step towards him causing him to be shut out ob the networks... I love Rigo, was one of the few picking him to beat Donaire but what has he done in a fight lately? Broke Gazza's jaw? So? Frampton broke Quiggs Jaw, Quigg just didn't quit.

Like I said, Frampton ducked him, how does that reflect what we are talking about?

Face it , if Rigo beat Quigg the way Frampton did he would get praise, Frampton didn't.

Both are the only fighters who throw full length feints, both have great long rear hands. Both are The Jackal....Yeah bro, nothing alike.

an older Floyd at 147 used less offense I agree, but are u saying that a young Floyd didn't have much offense???????

ward is a throw back fighter, he used all skills in his last fight and makes it dirty when he has too, dirty boxing is a taught skill in boxing gyms, deal with it. some of the greats you all idolize were dirty boxers at times. ward can do it all.
