In my opinion, boxing is a sport you have to learn as a kid. These dudes that start boxing at 18, 19, 20 will never have good technique and will more than likely be chinny.
But credit goes to Wilder, his management, GB, Haymon, the matchmakers and everyone that has brought him along throughout his career. He has done well for himself.Comment

Wilder's a farce. He's just a big oaf who can hurt you if he lands, like just about any big oaf. He does have some athleticism, but little amateur pedigree and poor form at times. We've seen holes in his game from Duhaupas, Szpilka & even Molina landed some good shots. If he ever faces a top well-schooled, disciplined HW, he's done.Comment

naw....Charles Martin wasnt very cooordinated, John Ruiz, Mike Weaver, Max Baer(hit like a mule butt didnt look like much of an athlete), Jess Willard to name a fewI have so much trouble watching him because he is called a champion. His arm punches, slaps and lack of balance is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Maybe the idea that we are seeing the end of the sport is true. He is atrocious. Compare him to any and I mean, ANY former heavyweight champion and see if they are as off balance and out of step as he is. This must be the lowest point of the sport if the heavyweight division is any kind of indicator.
Personally, he seems like a nice guy in person and in life, but good lord, he is terrible in the ring. He has a punch but absolutely nothing else. Seriously, this is sad. When he does step up, it's either going to end badly for him or this is the lowest point the sport has ever seen.
Wilder is an athletic guy and he also has good reflexes
that right hand he timed spilka with took some coordination and timing
he does wing shots, arms flail and his footwork can be every where but he is pretty coordinated
being coordinated doesnt mean its aesthetically pleasing to see.Comment

His development has been stunted. I pick top guys like Pov, Pulev, Fury and Wlad to beat him. I hope he fights at least one of them.Comment

come on deontay, time to stop this circus show of yours and start fighting real fighters. you cant keep digging up corpses from the cemetery to fight. So what povetkin pulled out because of PEDS, plenty more fish in the sea deontay, you seem to grasp any excuse to fight a bum, surely a better replacement out there than burger king arreola.Comment

Oh his competition has been the key to his success for sure. The real opponents are coming but not until next year at least. I don't have anything against the guy, but anyone who holds a belt has be accountable against a live opponent eventually.Wilder's a farce.
