can't surpass atg's if you spend your career avoiding legit opposition. hiding in a s.hithole division and beating bums doesn't prove jackpoo. ggg has one of the crappiest resumes of a so called top p4p'er in the history of the sport......the fact that he was ranked top 25 in the last 25 years by espn literally soils that list and devalues it.

Can GGG ever surpass Floyd Mayweather on an ATG list?

he was knocked out completely unconscious in 2012.
and he's smaller than floyd
kovalev and ward are two weight classes higher than golovkin's weight in his f#cking mid 30's.
prime doe, amiright?
so yes, they'd be signnifican'ty better wins than anything floyd has on his resume, mainly because of the size and the fact that they're in their primes. arguing otherwise makes you a fanboy. let's see what you've got to refute that, or will you just ask a one line question?

He's 34 and his biggest scalp is.....David Lemieux?
I don't see him getting close, honestly.
Still can be considered a truly great fighter, though. He needs the right dance partners. And be it by fighters reluctance to get it in the ring with him, or his team overestimating his "star power", he hasn't gotten one yet.
Hope he gets the opportunities before his time as a elite fighter run out.

Yes he can if he beats down:
Canelo
Ward
Ramirez
Kovolev
Add in a degale, dirrell, cotto or beterbiev.. Hopkins didn't start making legacy wins until he was 36, and he has one of the best resumes of this era.. Ggg has plenty of time, but he will need some monster wins over the next few years to surpass guys like floyd or hopkins

find someone who has a thinner one and holla at me
You paraded this '3 TITLISTS' figure around as derogatory towards Golovkin so lets compare him to MW's of yore to get a sense of perspective.. Without comparison nothing has meaning. You have no problem comparing him to SMW Ward so lets compare him to the great fighters of his own division over recent years.
Waiting..

He isnt top 50 let alone top 25 of the last 25 years....Too many fighters with comparable talent who took more risks and beat better fighters.
Its guys nowhere near the p4p list with better resumes. Danny Garcia is under 30 and undefeated....even khan has a better resume than this guy.....Timmeh Bradley too...list goes on
