How is he culpable for repeating what they reported? I don't need to Google it my friend, I have been following it.
This is difamation, read the whole article. He accuses povetkin of microdosing and intentions to cheat. He even says that Povetkin head shape changed due to drug use wtf.

    • Wilder still won't want the fight. I've maintained he never wanted it in the first place.

Not a big deal. He's not actively using it since it was banned. It's not an unfair advantage. Wilder could have done the same thing and everything would still be fine. The only thing that matters is if you are actively taking a substance that was already banned--- and he wasn't at the time.

And also, as I've said before:

Blood testing vs Urinary tests are ****ing different. I don't know how many posters here keep ignoring this over and over again. It's like you guys are so stubborn and want to believe what YOU want, rather than the facts.
Meldonium enhances an athlete’s performance by creating larger red blood cells while also removing byproducts such as ammonia, carbon dioxide and lactic acid.

Your right but BOTH should be able to check your RED BLOOD Cells... What are you trying to say???

He should be sueing VADA the lab that tested him and said it was postive test. They didn't follow WADA's guidelines on the amount. IF it's truly .07 whatever. All Wilder did was report what was TOLD to BOTH parties and the WBC.

I'll bet ANYONE $$$$$ That PEDvetkin won't win this lawsuit against Wilder.

It''s like going for a job interview and you don't get hired because the Doctor told them you FAILED your drug test by mistake but are clean. You can't SUE the company that didn't hire you. They went off what was TOLD to them...

          • The only reason the fight didn't happen on May 21 is because of Povetkin. STFU about Wilder already. He did nothing wrong. I wanted Povetkin to knock Wilder out but it didn't happen because POVETKIN failed a drug test not Wilder. You delusional Eastern European boxing fans need to STFU & face reality. It doesn't matter if he passed on May, June or July 17 because he failed when it mattered. He cheated & he got caught. Russians are so pathetic for crying foul. It's not like he is the first since the ban on the substance came into play. At the end of the day Povetkin & his team cost Wilder 4.6 million dollars. There is no duck like nuthuggers claim. The champion is clean & the challenger was dirty. Twist it anyway you want. Keep telling yourself whatever makes you sleep at night but at the end of the day Povetkin is at fault for failing a drug test. I take drug tests all the time. I know what goes on... Russians can all they want. At the end of the day they are still the cheats...

            • I told the entire forum this would happen over and over and got buried in red K and insults.

It's called reading the actual rules instead of listening to Lou Dibella tweets...

Povetkin did nothing illegal at all. Read the ****ing rules...

              • New WADA guidelines clear Povetkin

                (from fightnews.com)

WADA has just issued a new Meldonium report, that appears to back heavyweight Alexander Povetkin’s claim that he didn’t take Meldonium after the substance was banned on January 1.

Povetkin’s test revealed 0.07 micrograms of Meldonium in April, under the 1 µg /mL amount permitted between March 1 and September 30 under the guidelines.

The Povetkin-Wilder fight was supposed to take place on May 21 at the Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow.

But it was postponed after one of the samples showed traces of Meldonium in extremely low concentrations.

                • Oh ****, this is big. I really hope the Wilder fight is back on, even if it's next year.

                  • Why does everyone ignore the fact that the wada themselves stated that theyre still testing the drug and they dont know how long afterwards it will stay in system or what is does after?

                    Comment

                    • wow, how shocking. you mean the people who comprise wada are rational people who look at facts? They didnt sit around saying why he taking heart medicine doe? Why the test says .07 micrograms if he didnt take it yesterday?

Wilder and his team were very quick to jump the gun and shout cheater while ignoring the facts. Fight should have just been postponed while they cleared this up. Lucky for Chris Arreola I guess.
