With all the politics and drama that this fight has generated, I'm skeptical, even with Povetkin being exonerated, that it will happen. After Wilder demolishes Arreola, his management will likely pursue a fight with Joshua or the winner of Wlad-Fury.

WADA said he wouldn't be disqualified. Nothing about being clean. Even the article quotes "clean" lol

Pretty much... I don't get how anyone can sit and defend cheaters! It's just ******** annoying. The man was on a drug that was design for heart problems. He himself doesn't have any heart problems but am hearing excuses about how the drug is legal!

Another thing is this is the same WADA that most of this same posters claimed were corrupt because Bob Arum said so back in 2010 when negotiating the Mayweather - Pacman drug testing protocol.

So now WADA is cool? And why is it only Povetkin promoter coming out with comments? Where is the representatives of WADA or WBC?

It's alright doe, now Wilder and Povetkin get to face off, it's a win-win for all the fans, this is a fight I've wanted to see for a long time......best HW fight to make right now imo.
Agreed! Best fight to make ATM. What I was saying though is that WILDER has no issues with this fight and ginuwinely seems to want it. People are posting as if he was trying to duck this fight and found a way out.

Then Wilder and camp are blasting their mouth about Povetkin, say the fight is Canceled, do not show up for conference.

I guess Wilder and his team as clueless as many of the posters here, who have no freaking clue about basic science and anatomy.

Heck, let's call anyone who supplements with Whey and Creatine as cheaters too. lol.

I know "nano", "mili", "kilo" are big words and all.... but think logically.
No I am not kidding you. You however are trying to deflect blame. Your argument is silly. Why would Wilder still board the flight to Moscow knowing that the fight was basically not happening due to this positive test result? The smarter thing to do would be to avoid the multiple flights and just go home and wait for word. The fight clearly wasn't going to happen at that point, that is how it works when you come upper positive for a PED in combat sports. But you are trying to say that Wilder not showing up was the reason the fight was "forced" to be postponed... than have the nerve to call people clueless. Here's an article for you regarding the situ. Ppl like you seem to avoid the fact that Povetkin was tested twice before and came up clean. So this small trace of the substance just magically appeared in his system out of nowhere. Great logic. Makes perfect sense. Would love to hear somebody explain how extensive testing of the same blood and urine can detect a substance once but miss it the first two times. I guess we're going to start blaming the anti doping agencies procedures and equipment next because it couldn't possibly be as simple as the fighter was doping to get an edge. That would be impossible.
