The facts are that one guy was clean and ready to fight. The other is a little more murky.
He could have waited until the investigations finished.

All I know is that this fight should be in the works for October. The fighters won't get the same purse that would have been in place if it happened in April, but at least it will get made.
One way or another Wilder/DiBella knew about what was going on in Russia before meldonium was banned in the beginning of 2016. For Povetkin to have just traces of the drug in one of four tests placed could mean that it was still in his system from 2015.
What JAB5239 said about the probationary period sounds like a good idea though and should have been put in place before all of this went down.

the word you are looking for is FAT
I read all this and can't remain silent. I just can't understand why nobody can see it.
It is next to impossible for a drug to stay in blood-flow for 6+ month. Yet drugs can stay for even longer in your body. Where are they stored? Lipophilic drugs can get deposited in fat tissues. How can it be released back into blood-flow and ultimately get into urine? You have to burn fat. Don't believe me? Google it!
Now to Povetcin case. He tested 0 before the camp and maybe in the beginning of it. And tested 70nano during the hardest time of his camp when he is supposed to loose fat. This is the case his promoted will most likely make in front of WBC. It's not WADA (they make generic rules), not VADA (they run labs), it's WBC. Their ruling matters. And given that notice from WADA the ruling will likely be "clean".
If not - his promoter will go to court, it seems. And he will have his case.

How is he culpable for repeating what they reported? I don't need to Google it my friend, I have been following it.
Also Wilder should not speak based on journalists but based on the actual documents from the official organizations.
One thing is to say Povetkin tested positive for meldonium, which is incomplete but true, and another say is to go to the media and say: "He's a cheater, I always knew it" and so on.
Let's wait some weeks...
