I can understand that stance from BJS, if Saunders is lining up this proposed Canelo fight.
If Jacobs won't face GGG until he has some other wins under his belt (wins that he thinks will 'build up a GGG fight'). Then he needs to face good names.
Lee, although he's coming of a loss?, maybe Lemieux (if that can be made due to the HBO/Haymon thing).
Lara? Shouldn't be too hard to make.
He got a good win over Quillin, now he needs to move away from the Sergio Mora types and build on it.
I'm still waiting for Jacobs to say "I wanna fight GGG!" Nobody cares about Mora or BJ Saunders! MAN THE **** UP!!! If Lara really wants to show he's serious about GGG, what better way than beating Jacobs @ 160???
Oooooh good fight. I think Lara's frame could fill out well at middleweight too. He's got a good engine so carrying the extra muscle wouldn't be an issue, plus I've a feeling his power would fare well up there.
Very hypocritical for Jacobs to say BJS doesn't want to fight him when he doesn't want to fight Golovkin.
Also, Jacobs is criticizing Mora, then why didn't he fight Lee, Korobov, N'Dam, Lemieux, Monroe, Tureano Johnson, or Chudinov? Damn! This guy has had over 6 months to plan a good fight and now he's b*tching about the one he's taking...
Satellite Dish Ears and his fans will never mention GGG until he's forced to do it or lose the belt.... then he'll only do it whining and sobbing uncontrollably all the way. If Mora and Pirog can drop Jacobs, obviously GGG can do the same. Jacobs only keeps his belt if he can avoid GGG. And for that matter, if Mora comes 100% ready, studied Jacobs more than last time, he could definitely stop the big mouthed pretender. Suspect chin = avoid GGG at all costs. And Jacobs definitely has that liability going into any fight he takes.
This is a pathetic division. Middleweight has more ducks than all the ponds in America.
And it's funny how Jacobs is still acting like he actually stopped Mora. He must think he hits so hard that the air from his missed punches injures legs.
