hell GGG is older than Ward...with a weaker resume

yeah, we've gone over this. ward's got a better resume than golovkin, and he's still not ranked higher p4p on any of the major lists? why? because a p4p list and a list of accomplishements over the course of a fighters' career are very different things.

frankly, i don't think you'r reading my posts fully.

youy really need to actually read my posts in a thread before you comment. also, the idea that golovkin is my boy and that ward is not is just ridiculous.

i've already got my hotel booked for ward - kovalev ffs . let me guess, i'm there for kovalev?

you guys just don't get it, and you ascribe differing opinions to "fanboyism" without understanding my perspective, or even the facts regarding the situation.

golovkin's resume isn't as good as ward. resume and the p4p list are different things, which i've explained thoroughly in this thread and elsewhere a myriad of times.
his best work was years ago...I agree...but who did GGG ever beat in the first place to belong in the conversation of p4p? He has no wins over elite opponents....not in 2016....not in 2014...not in 2010....not at all....so the little game you guys are playing just shows how silly you look, you have no logic

you think a guy who has no wins at all over elite opponents in p4p, but a guy who has them but years ago is not?

keep fighting the good fight...while Ward fights his way into the hall of fame...you guys will be making excuses why GGG was hyped and his resume doesnt stack up with other p4p or hall of famers...enjoy bro

Pound for pound is a term used in combat sports such as boxing[1] or mixed martial arts[2] to reflect an assessment as to who the better fighters are, regardless of size (i.e., regardless of weight class).

again, who wrote this? am i really making up my own criteria :lol1?

i was trying to be civil with you, but now that you've called me a ****** it's just getting to be too much.

"a p4p list is not a measurement of who the best fighters are regardless of size."

        "what is it?"

"well, uhh, you have this criteria you use to figure out who is better regardless of size, but it's way different."
I'm sure you understand the point of what I'm saying. But instead you choose to quote definitions that mean nothing as a way of deflecting. Andre Ward is a p4p fighter. So too is GGG. Neither one of them are p4p based on what they've done for the last 2 years. Period. Why do we even have to do this? Like I said, it's embarassing.

          "major lists"

everyone has a style preference....punchers are usually overrated....at one time they had Corrales over Mayweather p4p, even though mayweather was more skilled and beat better fighters before they fought.

If you have your own eyes and ears you can form your own ideas and opinion.

ring magazine hit the *****ter when a promoter and former fighter bought it

and espn...bwahahahahahaha...people on this forum know more about boxing than their "experts"...if other peoples opinion, instead of FACTS are the basis of your position...this conversation was over before it started

No need to keep talking in circles.

he's been on a 20+ knockout streak with 6 top 10 middleweights on it, and he's on any decent top 10 p4p list. again, not my problem if you don't know who these guys are, and can't understand why golovkin is ranked as highly as he is, and why ward is ranked lower because he's in a rebuild after a 2 year layoff.

i think ward would beat golovkin withot a ton of fus. i'd have pciked him at 164 if he'd looked healthy. i'd pick him at 68. i'd pick him at any weight up to and including HW.

and lol at you acting like i'm mad that ward is a good fighter . you're incredibly immature for a grown man. i expect that kind of rhetoric from a boy.

turn you avatar button on and look at mine . i am on fo the biggest andre ward fans on this forum. i'm going to ward - kovalev!!! you are just clueless man. clueless.

i understand your point just fine

you don't get what a p4p list is. i can't lose sleep over people in nsb not getting boxing.

ward's got a better resume. comparing resume over the entirety of a career and a p4p list to determine who the best boxer is, right now, regardless of size, are totally different things, and you guys clearly don't understand that.
