Because there are other fights that the bulk of these guys can get where they'd be making more than the seeming $500k cap on what K2 seems willing to offer anyone.

Golovkin's last fight had a main event payout of $2.5m to both guys; the fact that no one seems willing to ask Golovkin to give up a penny to help make better fights is laughable.

$500K cap? For who? Guys like Wade? What was Wade really worth? What did Lemieux get paid? Golovkin holds 3 farking MW belts and is considered P4P. Any MW who beats him suddenly becomes the man and can start calling the shots. The truth is GGG's not a big enough draw to be able to offer opponents who bring no fan base $2 or $3 million. They all want retirement $$$.
