I had it 7-5,or 8-4 Thurman. He was landing the harder cleaner shots and Porter just tried to mug him which was effective to a point but wasn't enough to win the fight.

He didn't win a unanimous decision for no reason, he won the fight.

Only just watched it now & didn't score it but took away the impression The Thurmanator did enough to take it.

I always have had a hard time giving Shawn ''shoeshine'' Porter close rounds.

I'll give this a shot later and put up a scorecard. I didn't really score it live but I did think they were gonna call it 7-5 ish for Thurman. I imagine it'd be hard to argue too much with that.

Punishing the body so effectively that Keith not only went backwards, but shelled up against the ropes for long periods.
This fight is all about how people value body work. Sadly many, including judges, have a hard time spotting body shots and favor the more easily visible head shots and work done at range.

They must be on crack or something. The last round was clearly all Thurman.

The app shows for the twelfth and final round 74% scored it for Thurman.

I don't think anybody has denied that that's when Porter had the advantage. As a matter of fact, even the commentators admit that Porter was better up close. But it didn't happen so often that you can make a case for Porter to win. There were times Thurman was throwing back and to be honest, some of Porter's shots didn't really seem all that hard.

That's why you gotta break it down round by round cuz that good work you speak of was spread out over 12 rounds. Some rounds Porter clearly won by that good work, others not so much. I did have Thurman stealing a couple rounds myself though, so if I gave one of those to Porter instead he would be the winner on my card.
