4-3, another very close round, Thurman landed the cleaner shots but maybe not enough, Porter done a bit too much work even if it was scrappy

4-4, another very close round, Porter outboxed Thurman most of it and might have hurt him to the body a bit, but again Thurman finished the round strong and got the better of the exchanges, I might be giving Porter too many of these close rounds but I'll give him this one as well

Damn, the second time around isn't any easier to score. I'm content to call it 7-5 either way and let it be.

5-4 Porter, good round for him, got a lot of work done to the body and fought at his pace

5-5, first half of the round was close, second half Thurman landed some very good, clean power punches, clear round for him.

Keith won the championship rounds which won him the bout. Shawn.........I think ran out of gas. He didn't pressure like he needed to. However, that's understandable, no human could sustain that high level of activity for that long.

Too many people ignored Porter rounds because Keith landed a couple good hooks at the end of a round. This happened in several rounds and I saw people's scoring in the main thread. If someone is expecting Keith to win, observing something dramatic at the end of the round persuades them to give him the round, even if Porter just did two and a half minutes of good work.

7-5 Thurman, another clear round for Keith. He landed the 4 or 5 biggest punches in the round including a nasty uppercut.

This was a close, competitive but ultimately clear fight imo, I gave Shawn more of the closer rounds and gave him the benefit of the doubt, but Thurman simply landed more of the harder, cleaner punches when it mattered and hurt Porter big a couple of times.

8-4 or 7-5 Thurman. Props to both guys, they're a credit to the sport.
