According to the WBA, WBC and IBF what weight class range does 155 fall under?

what you dont seem to understand is that most welters fight their CWs 1 or 2 lbs above 147, JMWs above 154, MWs above 160, and so on... so if the limit is 155 then is a CW commonly used by JMWs... for example danny garcia had 20 CWs above 140 before anyone considered him or ranked him as a welter...

Canelo might as well start wearing dresses and using tampons.

danny garcia had 20 CWs above 140 before moving to welter, and those organizations that you named did not rank him as a welter despite all those fights...

did anyone considered canelo-lara a MW fight?? you can use all the tachnicism that you want, but you wont find a boxing insider that called that fight a MW fight...

              I didn't mention Garcia, I asked:

I do understand that. In the last post you quoted me I said I understand that. I'm not denying it happens. I know what happened with Garcia and none of those fights were for the 140 title because he was fighting within the welterweight limit. The reason no one ranked him at welterweight was because he hadn't committed to welterweight. The same reason Canelo isn't currently ranked at super welterweight or middleweight since giving up his belt. Canelo fought at a CW for a MW belt. And defended his MW belt at a CW. And became lineal MW champion at a catchweight. Again, what is the limit for super welterweight?

you are asking the wrong question, we all know that 155 is within MW, but none of those organizations have the MW class set at 155, if the limit is 155 or 156 then is a CW commonly used by JMWs, is not a MW CW, is a 155 lbs CW..

The bolded is the only thing that matters, Canelo has been fighting in the MW weight RANGE for his last 4 fights.

we all know is 154... i dont think that a fight with a limit set at 155 is considered a jmw or mw fight, is only a CW fight at 155... is really that simple... i guess we just have to agree to disagree..
