Why GGG gets criticized but Rigondeaux gets a pass?

Essentially Yeah after beating Donaire. Arum called him boring and made plenty of negative comments about Rigo. then on his next fight against Abeko he went head to head against The Paulie / Zab card which included Lara / Trout & Porter / Alexander and blamed him for the sh.it ratings of 550k but Loma pulls in 585 this week and have you read any negative comments from Arum about Loma
saying Things like people dont wAnt to watch him & he's boring this is his f.uckin promoter not exactly a ringing endorsement. Call it what you want but Arum didn't do Rigo any favours once he beat Donaire.Comment

rigo didn't duck lomachenko. lomachenko people said the fight didn't happen because of money not weight.
rigo career high payday is 750k which was more than lomachenko had ever made until this past weekend. just for some perspective

Lets be real people were split 50-50 on rigo-donaire going into the fight.Cuz Rigodeaux took on a threat in the likes of at the time Reigning Fighter of The Year Nonito "Philippino Flash" Donaire!
GGG's best win is Martin Murray! When's the last time GGG wasnt favored to win a fight? That's right..NEVER
There was definitely some folks who thought Donaire had a chance to KO Rigo and he had the power to do it!
GGG would've definitely shut them same people up if he'd took on and beat Ward! Imagine Golovkin with Ward and Lara on his resume win or lose!!
Instead he's becoming a mythical monster without the badges!Comment

Rigondeaux doesn't give people much choice but to duck him. He's a waste of time.
To answer the TS, it's because no one gives a *** about Rigo, guy ruined his career.Comment

Phuckin lol. 99% of Rigo posts on this forum are ****ting on him for being boring and for fighting James ****ens and OP has the nerve to act like GGG gets criticized more.Comment
-
All the points you make are valid but the OP wants to know why Rigo level of competition is accepted but g string is not. My explanation was spot on.Right...so it's exactly the same fighting a guy in your own division ranked 6th as it is moving up 8 lbs to fight arguably the best in the world...
Keep on reaching......Rigo could have moved up 4 lbs for Lomachenko, or did that slip your feeble mind? Rigo can keep on fighting japenese fish market workers on New Year's Eve and never be seen again and I'm sure nobody would even care....
Kicking 35 in the arse without a quality win and no concrete plan to fight one.Comment

These people can't be bothered with facts if it doesn't fit their agenda.rigo didn't duck lomachenko. lomachenko people said the fight didn't happen because of money not weight.

if anyone has got a pass its GGG...for the way they're managing their respective careers?
They're practically in the same situation and have taken the same kind of decissions
- Both have been disgracefully ducked by the top names of their divisions for years, the so called champs would rather vacate the belts than fighting them
- Both have been fighting B levels, no hopers or outright bums because they can't get a big fight
- Both are praised as unbeatable gods in their own divisions, both are getting old, people wants to see them challenged asap so they can solidify their legacies before they are washed up, but both fighters have avoided what could have been the greatest test of their careers. Ward and Lomachenko, respectively
- Both fighters are trying to nitpick the fights they would move up or down for:
---- GGG is willing to move up to 168 for Froch or Chavez, but not for Ward, he'll only fight Ward at a catchweight. He'll move down to 154 for Floyd, but not to 155 for Canelo
--- similarly, Rigo has claimed he'd move up in weight for Santa Cruz or Jhonny Gonzalez, but not for Lomachenko. He'll only fight Loma at a catchweight
I'm not trying to criticize these fighters for doing what's best for their careers (or at least that's what they think). The point is, GGG gets lapidated by haters on daily basis for taking these decissions, meanwhile, Rigo does the exact same **** and gets a free pass from the same hatas, and pretty much everyone else
so why the double standards? These guys are in the exact same position, they're both too good and too avoided, their clock is tickling, they need big legacy fights asap, yet they're not taking the few chances available for them
why the double standards?
2/3 BELTS were handed to him
he hasnt fought any elite or p4p type fighters
yet he is billed as the monster and top 3 p4p
he gets more than enough credit...guys like Khan and garcia get crapped on but they regularly fight good opposition
2 different situations....GGG is promoted better while Rigo has/had a promoter who didnt know what to do with him
dude got blackballed as the lineal/unified champion WAS STRIPPED of his titles...alphabet and ring....visa issues...etc.... whereas GGG gets belts gift wrapped and doesnt have to fight for them
gets a pass for bad opposition
"mandatories doe" and "they ducking doe"Comment

I fail to see how GGG and Rigo fall in the same bucket. Golovkin is a star, while Rigo gets booed out of small arenas. Rigo was given opportunities in his career and he pissed them down the drian, Golovkin is still trying to build his legacy by any means necessary. For all the talk about accomplishments, Golovkin's resume is miles better. Rigo's only win is Donaire. None of his other opponents were even close to Top20 - they're usually 50th ranked fighters.
Being 'ducked' is not the same for all fighters. Rigo gets ducked because he brings nothing to the table. Golovkin gets ducked even though he brings something to the table.Comment
