Why GGG gets criticized but Rigondeaux gets a pass?

Because the ones critical of GGG look at him as an enemy to the black man same way they looked at Pacquiao.
They love Rigo and dont say chit on him he can fight any thai cab driver he wants, they even say 126 pounds is too big for him but want GGG to move up to 168 or 175, yet Rigo said out of his own mouth he beats up bigger guys who weigh over 135 on fight night, yet he wont move to 126 for lomachenko lol
Its all race bias.
I personally dont like GGG stylewise, I have no issue with GGG or Rigo but the lame racial bias started by these pro black floyd fans is sickening they shouldnt even be allowed to speak.
I miss this forum when it was back in 2005-2007 before Floyd blew up on 24/7 and got these new world star hip hop fanboys who search on boxrec and never really followed boxing but act like they do online. These floymos are the worst of the worst.Comment

How long ago was that now? Rigo has taken a big step back since that...he's not getting any younger either. Ggg has an opportunity to get a signature win if someone can convince canelo to fight him. It's definitely frustrating to see 2 talented guys basically going to waste when we know their time is limited.Cuz Rigodeaux took on a threat in the likes of at the time Reigning Fighter of The Year Nonito "Philippino Flash" Donaire!
GGG's best win is Martin Murray! When's the last time GGG wasnt favored to win a fight? That's right..NEVER
There was definitely some folks who thought Donaire had a chance to KO Rigo and he had the power to do it!
GGG would've definitely shut them same people up if he'd took on and beat Ward! Imagine Golovkin with Ward and Lara on his resume win or lose!!
Instead he's becoming a mythical monster without the badges!Comment

I think it might have a little to do with the way hbo pushes GGG on the masses compared to how they siht on rigo. This is just a general statement / my own personal opinion. I'm sure others may feel different...for the way they're managing their respective careers?
They're practically in the same situation and have taken the same kind of decissions
- Both have been disgracefully ducked by the top names of their divisions for years, the so called champs would rather vacate the belts than fighting them
- Both have been fighting B levels, no hopers or outright bums because they can't get a big fight
- Both are praised as unbeatable gods in their own divisions, both are getting old, people wants to see them challenged asap so they can solidify their legacies before they are washed up, but both fighters have avoided what could have been the greatest test of their careers. Ward and Lomachenko, respectively
- Both fighters are trying to nitpick the fights they would move up or down for:
---- GGG is willing to move up to 168 for Froch or Chavez, but not for Ward, he'll only fight Ward at a catchweight. He'll move down to 154 for Floyd, but not to 155 for Canelo
--- similarly, Rigo has claimed he'd move up in weight for Santa Cruz or Jhonny Gonzalez, but not for Lomachenko. He'll only fight Loma at a catchweight
I'm not trying to criticize these fighters for doing what's best for their careers (or at least that's what they think). The point is, GGG gets lapidated by haters on daily basis for taking these decissions, meanwhile, Rigo does the exact same **** and gets a free pass from the same hatas, and pretty much everyone else
so why the double standards? These guys are in the exact same position, they're both too good and too avoided, their clock is tickling, they need big legacy fights asap, yet they're not taking the few chances available for them
why the double standards?Comment

Rigo's own promoter hates on him.How long ago was that now? Rigo has taken a big step back since that...he's not getting any younger either. HBO announcers hate on him during his fight.Comment

It could have something to do with him being involved in some of the most boring fights in boxing history. Rigo is a guy who needs to face the best possible opposition to shine. He has a low punch output and coasts against overmatched guys that he should be trying to finish. He's a tough sale. A large segment of boxing fans, especially casuals, tune in for violence plain and simple.Comment
