No he didn't. The first attempt to make a fight between Golovkin and Ward failed because Ward wasn't ready for it. The second "attempt" was rejected by Loeffler who told Ward that if he wanted to fight GGG at 168 for 50% of the purse he should get back to them in 2017, because Golovkin was focused on 160 for the next year and Ward might be worth the money he was asking for by then.

Talk about 164 was just talk. You know, like when Ward called out Floyd at 160

Canelo "ill fight GGG at 160" at the Post confrence of Canelo vs Khan. He will fight GGG right after the Cotto and Khan fight according to him, no weight issues thier. Its four Middleweight titles on the Line, i think the fight should be at 160. Canelo gets 70 percent and GGG 30 percent.
