If Golovkin was Mexican he would get more PPV buys . Here in american we have more Mexicans than Kazak people. Ill bet more people in Kazakstan watch GGG fights than Canelo fights. If GGG was Mexican he would be the top draw here in American and Mexico.

If GGG fought a REAL contender he would get PPV buys! I was close to buying Lemuix vs. GGG from all you GTards telling em how that fight was going to be fight of the year. When I saw the odds and how I had to bet $1600 to when a $100 I decided to look into Lemuix (Didn't know who he was before) and saw he was KTFO by Ricky Rubio and lost to Alcine I was like NOPE!!!! Waste of money. The same Alcine who was KTFO by Angulo. A SMW just 2 fight earlier...

What is LAME of these Canelo fans is that the REAL ISSUE is that Canelo is the laughing stock and embarrassment of the Boxing world and not GGG! Canelo, not GGG is the ONLY MIDDLEWEIGHT champion in history that was UNWILLING to fight a 160 pound fighter and instead gave up his title!!! And they cant defend that! he probably would, no one is discussing that... but the fact is that ggg is the one that needs canelo, not the other way... now that canelo doesnt have the title the fight will only happen on canelo's terms, this year, next year, 154, 160, mexico city, etc... ggg will just have to bend if he really wants it... not defending that, but thats the way it is, and if ggg and his team dont aknowledge this, then the fight wont happen...

GGG need to beat a couple of Mexicans like Pacman and Mayweather did. Pacman beat Morales, Barrera, Marquez, Oscar De La Hoya. Mayweather beat Oscar De La Hoya, Canelo, Ortiz and made a pretty penny with those opponent.

Mexicans support Canelo because he has a very good resume, and because he fought Lara against the wishes of his promoter.

Golovkin does not have a great resume, and appears completely unwilling to take any kind of risk to land a meaningful fight, despite stating exactly the opposite for the last FOUR YEARS.

So yea, I'm not sure they would support Golovkin at all.... and they are mostly knowledgeable, so they would be questioning why Golovkin has killed TWO huge fights over the weight after talking all that schtick about 154-168.

Bottom line is GGG is in one of the worst divisions right now. The entire MW division is dog sht! Outside of Cotto, Canelo, GGG I wouldn't buy ANY of their fights. Those 3 YES!!!! None of the rest.

GGG is willing to fight all top middleweight fighter. Sergio Martinez, Cotto, Canelo, BJ Sounders. Beat the IBF Champion. Canelo said he is willing to fight GGG at 160, its four middleweight titles on the line, it should be at 160. They have weight classes for a reason.
