    • Nelo will rematch Cotto if he thinks he can make enough money. Surprised that Cotto hasnt taken an easy fight to get his name back out there. He should have been the one to jump on the Khan at 155 farce.

So yea, I'm not sure they would support Golovkin at all.... and they are mostly knowledgeable, so they would be questioning why Golovkin has killed TWO huge fights over the weight after talking all that schtick about 154-168.
The reason Canelo has a better Resume is because fighters are willing to fight him, They get a good payday and not difficult opponent. On the other Hand fighters are not willing to get in the ring with GGG, high risk low reward. Once GGG is the most popular guy they will. U see more and more guys calling him out now than before.

Canelo isn't rated in the top ten by any of the alphabet organizations at 154 or 160. He/GBP must not have told anyone yet what weight he will be fighting at.

I know that quote has been attributed to Abel Sanchez or Tom Leoffler but do you have a reference to Golovkin saying that?

In any case, 154 for Floyd and 168 for Froch/Chavez Jr. are what I thought was implied in the above quote a couple years ago. Ward, unfortunately wasn't in K2's radar because of high risk, low money, and uncertain timing.

Lol, canelo made 8 mil just for fighting freaking angulo on a fight where both coming of a loss and no titles on the line...
Canelo already is the main ppv fighter in boxing, no need for ggg on that..

He is the main ppv guy at the moment. He has lost fans after dropping his title. You have other guys coming up on PPV Crawford and Postol, and depends how Thurman looks after fighting Porter he might do a PPV next. Canelo cant continue to be the Main ppv guy fighting weak unknown opponents. Lara was the second top guy at LMW and Angulos is Mexican. I dont consider 300k ppvs very successful.

                    • I called it! He will fight GGG at 157. GGG will look like a fool after talking all that sh it (more Loeffer and Sanchez). I'll be disappointed if the fight happens at anything lower than 160
