A scrub will always find an unintentional way to back up another scrub.... He backed up Floyd on picking and waiting 6 years for Pacquiao. He's now trying to sell these champions that Barely just got on. If I was team Canelo, I would fight GGG, if I lose, go back to 154 & rule there. I think regardless of these Charlo brothers, cotto or Andrade, he still beats most if not all of them. Canelos pretty experienced now. I would love to see GGG vs Chavez Jr. Tho lol

That mentality also means "I'm the A-side, I can fight anyone and my fans will support the event." Liam is the WBO SWW Champion. Oscar will spin that into "the best fighting the best."

Well said- The pathetic thing is that almost all these 154 lb guys are advised by Haymon. So these fights would easy to make- no promotional or network issues...Yet they keep avoiding each other like no tomo wtf??

That's exactly what they are supposed to do!

???? What are you talking about? We just saw a mini tournament at 154 just a few weeks ago. The 160 division is straight DOG SHT! Outside of GGG and Canelo. 154 is where it's at. And Thurman, Brook, Bradley could all EASILY make 154. Same with Crawford, Postal in 1-2 years.

I don't know how good 154 is because all the so called best fighters are refusing to fight each other. They are all basically unproven and neither of which I would favor to beat Canelo right now.

Canelo already proved himself at 154 fought all the best. Now it's time for Charlo bros, J-Will, Andrade to all do the same their resumes are all weak as hell. Despite all Showtime fighters, almost all are Haymon fighters so what the F is the hold up why aren't they doing it? Somebody has to separate themselves from the pack and only way to do it is by them fighting each other.

A very mini tournament with none of the top guys fighting each other.

The top fighters at 154, in no order of merit, are Lara, Andrade, the Charlo twins, Cotto, Williams, Smith and maybe Canelo.

Andrade says he wants everybody whose name starts with C and ends with O, but is he serious about that? He said he was moving up to 160 to fight Korobov, then disappeared and wasn't seen again for a year!

Liam Smith seems to be the only one who would fight any of the others.

The top men at 154 are

                  Jermall Charlo
                  Erislandy Lara
                  Jermell Charlo
                  Demetrius Andrade
                  Vanes Martirosyan
                  Julius Williams
                  Charles Hatley
                  Liam Smith
                  Willie Nelson

Jermall fought Trout and his next fight is against J-Rock
                  Lara fought Vanes and Trout
Jermell Charlo fought Julian Jackson for the vacant WBC title and his next fight is Hatley
Andrade just fought Willie Nelson and he's the mandatory for the winner of Hatley-Charlo fight
Vanes has fought Andrade, Nelson, Lara, and Jermell Charlo

The only cham in the division who hasn't fought anybody is Liam Smith. Show me another division where so many of the top fighters have fought each other and/or scheduled mandatories to fight each other

What a lot of people forget is that 1) The Charlo Bros. are not fighting each other. 2) Lara and Jermall are both trained by Ronnie Shields, so that's not happening. 3) The "Mandos" that you pointed out. When was the last time you saw 3 title fights in any division on the same card? Can Haymon get a little credit?

cut the smoke and mirrors. Jermell, Jermall, Lara, Andrade, Smith, J-Will are the top fighters at 154 and NONE as of today have fought each other. Other then Lara the rest are really unproven and we won't know how good they are until they fight each other.
