Eh that Rios fight he passed on was bigger money and exposure than anything he's gotten ever. But it's beside the point. The point is he's washed up and has been looking like **** for years

Gamboa in his prime was something else man. Gamboa would probably lose now, older, inactive and off the roids.

I don't understand, what are you trying to say? I believe 130lb is the right weight for him. Not lightweight, which is where he fought TC.

Are you trying to say he hasn't looked good in any of his fights, because that would be BS.

Anyway, that's all irrelevant, like I said, at 130, Gamboa puts a beating on Loma.

You should watch the fight. It wasn't the timing that got Gamboa but the size.

you don't know $h1t about fighting, a bigger man will wear you down, and in the last round he really hurt Crawford, never see him that badly hurt...

No...when a fight wears on, the smaller fighters gets tired quicker if the bigger fighter is fighting a more physical bout. TC often came in and imposed his size on Gamboa, thus breaking Gamboa down physically.

If you had ever boxed, you would know that.

I thought you meant 126. At 130 all he's done is get dropped hard vs Farenas. You forgot to answer, how many of his fights you've seen in last 5 guy years. You sound way out of touch

                      TIMING.

Crawford would have KOed Gamboa if he was exactly the same weight. Gamboa always goes wild and gets clipped. Loads of people have rocked that chin (Salido, Farenas etc). Of course size matters, but it was crawford timing that won him the fight (same with his fight against Dulorme). I also find it funny that you say i don't know about boxing, Sigh.....

Point still stands Gamboa gets blasted out by anyone with good skills and timing, including Loma. The chin is glass. Gamboa is basically a copy of khan at a lower weight - fast as hell but over-commits, gets tagged, and gets dropped. Then when it happens a whole fanbase gets stuck thinking he was the greatest ever, and just can't seem to accept the facts.

It's called congnitive dissonance when your emotions make you ignore the facts clearly given to you.

                      Fact #1
Gamboa over-commits and gets tagged, often!

                      Fact #2
When he gets tagged, he gets hurt bad. Soft chin!

                      Fact #3
To beat a man like this (who is really fast), you wait for him to over-commit and then demolish that chin with a well timed shot. Or if you're confident he can't hurt you, just trade with him. Froch-Groves 2 was a prime example of this. And froch said, timing kills speed.

If your only response is 'you don't know about boxing' all i can say is cognitive dissonance. Smell the coffee boys.

Salido hits him with a fu(king huge punch and all it does is cause him to fall because his punch brought him forward while off balance...He then gets up and laughs in derision at the idea he was hurt...Like I said, you are a terrible poster with a skewered view of boxing dominated by a bias. This place could use less of you.
