It's easy to complain about the rankings, but in reality it doesn't matter. Look at them for Christ sake.

Haye might be fighting bums, but the only person on that list who you could even try to make the case that he has a better chance against Joshua than Haye is Parker, and in reality I don't think he does. So, the ranking sucks, tell us something new, but if it helps Haye fight Joshua it's all good.

The IBF are a disgrace. Stripped a legitimate champion & rank bums like Di Mori & Gjededed or whatever his name is.
Shut up already with that - Tyson is getting sparked in a few weeks...same for Joshua.

I don't mean he's top 5 in ranking terms because he hasn't beaten anyone of note recently. But we know that ability wise he's one of the better fighters. If you'd rather the likes of Joshua fight scrubs that's fine, I'm happy with Haye's ranking if it means Joshua fights him rather than somebody who is ranked higher and has earned the ranking but realistically has no chance against Joshua. The IBF is a disgrace yes, they have demonstrated that countless times over the years and Fury being stripped is a good example. But why complain about it? It's boxing and paper belts mean ****e any more, all that matters is that competitive fights are made and if this ranking helps I'm fine with it.
I agree that Haye is one of the better fighters, but it's the principle of the matter. Why bother calling them rankings? If Haye wants to spend the rest of his career knocking out doormen on Dave, fine, but he shouldn't be mandated for a title without fighting legit opposition. I know it's boxing, and all the orgs do it, but it pisses me off.

Haye would be the best guy Joshua has fought by far. Way better than Breazeale. Nothing to complain about here.

I thought you said that the Prince was going to KO Joshua, what happened there? Did a British guy shag your wife or something? You seem very butthurt.

this is far too subjective. basically, by this criteria, fighters should get fights based on who the sanctioning bodies believe to be the most worthy. i'm not willing to let them do that!

ranking systems don't have to suck. they could be relatively objective criteria, or at least could very easily be more objective than they are.

they suck because you have to pay / [generate] money to get ranked. haye beat a guy who wasn't even in the top 50, from what i can tell. before that he beat de mori, a guy who isn't evne in the top 100. that shouldn't, in a world that tries to be objective and fair, happen.

Randomly have they shown that Joshua vs Breazeale Face Off/Gloves Are Off or whatever that **** is called in the UK yet?

Well, pragmatically we aren't going to get a totally fair system. Haye has proved himself in the past and is a better fighter than everyone else on that list, Parker included imo. I think the problem you have is that you put too much stock in the belts. The belt means absolutely nada. There are too many of them to worry about who is ranked where. Anthony Joshua, a man who has only beat absolute scrubs, is a champion if you put any stock in the belts. He beat Charles Martin to get there, a man whose opponents were even worse than Haye's recent ones and a man who has done absolutely nothing in his whole career. Time to accept that there isn't any fairness in boxing. Everybody knows the real champion is the man who the IBF stripped anyway so all this is irrelevant.

                    Absolutely hypocritical and disgusting.
That De Mori guy was top 10 with one of the Orgs.

Don't know about the second plumber.

It's not surprising though because I think we've all been around boxing long enough to know all of the sanctioning bodies ranking are complete and utter **** and hold no weight what so ever.
