It's not surprising though because I think we've all been around boxing long enough to know all of the sanctioning bodies ranking are complete and utter **** and hold no weight what so ever.
    That's true WBA.

Fighters losing and everyone being bumped up 2 spots is why he's moved up so high.
-duhaupas fought and beat helenius? That's literally better than anything Haye has done at HW this decade, maybe ever.

The IBF just made themselves a couple hundred grand when Haye fights Joshua in the UK in summer 2017 😂. Gotta respect that hustle lol.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hearn got IBF to fiddle the ratings a bit to make things a little easier to push through a Haye v AJ fight next summer without any problems in terms of fulfilling mandatories and voluntaries in regards to Joshua's belt, it's just one less obstacle to think about. Most of his champs are IBF and his other fighters get a lot of IBF shots, so he's obviously in tight with them. IBF would go along with that knowing what they can make from it.

This is essentially how things work these days isn't it?

Same with Warren and WBO. He's always been able to get fighters rankings and moved about into mandatory spots with WBO for years now and still does.

This is why I had to laugh when people were trying to paint the IBF as some sort of saint among sanctioning orgs for sticking to their guns in stripping Fury. They're just as full of BS as all the others.

as far as i can tell he was not much higher. he certainly wasn't anywhere near the top 10, and yet somehow he got a ranking right before his fight with haye.. suspish, so say the least.

De Mori had been ranked in the WBA top 15 since Feb 2013, he move in to the top 10 in Sep 2014 and had been as high as #7 before the Haye fight where he was ranked #10.

There goes the theory he was moved in just for Haye.

                  Ibf is a joke...

I don't mind if Haye cracks the top 10 or 15 due to his past history, but top 3 or even 5 is absurd..

Remember these guys exist on sanctioning fees. Haye is a massive draw in the UK and the IBF can smell a massive payout if he fights Joshua. They're just staking their claim early.
