Lil g is not a superstar , he is not a PPV draw , he does not have a great resume , he has not taken on the best , he has always been available to make big fights with all promotors and advisors , therefore their is no excuses , he refused to make the big fights happen, we can only blame him for being 34 with not one single big name on his resume!

Alvarez vacating has thrown Golovkin fans into a tizzy. This is a Smith Alvarez post! Smith is indeed the likely target if Alvarez moves down to 154. He has a belt and it would make any fight with the other top 154 lbers bigger. In that scenario, boxing fans win but Golovkin fans seeking an easy route to stardom for Golovkin lose.Comment

He pulled out of the Jermell Charlo fight when Roc Nation approached him and offered him a contract and promised to get him a HBO contract. It ended up not happening and that's why he's suing Roc Nation right now. He got stripped for inactivity. He's back on Showtime after he pulled out of that fight he had scheduled with Jermell on ShowtimeComment
