If Canelo and Cotto throw themselves into the 154 division, along with the Charlos, J-Rock, Andrade, Smith, and Lara, I see at least 2 years of great match-ups to be made. This is why I think GGG must accept 155 (or at least call his bluff) to fight Canelo now! I think this talk of Liam Smith is just leverage for the GGG negotiations.

no way. I could see maybe going down to '55 for Mayweather (evn though a fight with Santa Clause is more likely). For Canelo '59, maybe 158. Thats it. Canelo is a natural 154 lb fighter? Really? So, is that why he fought his last 5 at 155? Is that why he rehydrates to the mid-170's? Any boxer who does the melt of close to or above 20 lbs is definitely not natural to that weight...definitely.

didnt cotto beat martinez for the mw belt at a catchweight also...cotto vacated the belt because he didnt want to pay the sanctioning fees...just change the name from canelo to cotto on your message and you have cotto..minus the vacating of the belt...martinez was cashing out
