Goddammit Canelo. I'm sticking by him, but this nonsense is making it hard to.

      This better not be PPV.

And he better be doing what Oscar did when he went after the WBO belt and then after Bernard.

      edit.

Just looked it up and Smith is the WBO 154 champ.

Fuck this, I will renounce Canelo if this fight happens!

If Canelo is going back to 154 then i see no issue...but if it is at 155 it is ridiculous

Alvarez can't fight for Smith's SWW belt above the weight limit.

Martinez was the champ. Martinez agreed to fight Cotto at a catch-weight. The fight was sanctioned because the champ had agreed. With Cotto vs. Canelo, the champ had "vacated" his belt, and the challenger did not have a belt. The challenger had never fought @ 160, and the fight was at a catch-weight of 155! Therefore, the winner of that fight should never have been given the belt!

Well, since GGG weights less than Canelo, he would have no issue going to Canelo's weight?
Golovkins not my favourite fighter...he's just a fighter and not manufactured like canelo..now let's get on to the subject of weight..now I'm sure that golovkin if he really wanted to could look and weigh the same as canelo ..emancipated and like an extra from schindlers list ..but seeing as 160 is the limit of the middleweight division why should he do that....I'm also pretty certain that canelo weighs more than golovkin on fight night so you saying golovkin weights more is utter bollocks ....as I said before ..canelo is f@cked

No, man, that's not how it works. The fight was sanctioned for Cotto's WBC MW belt. Cotto refused to pay the sanctioning fee for the fight, so he was stripped. The belt then became vacant, but Canelo did pay his sanctioning fee, so he fought for the belt & was awarded it when he won the fight. I know the whole CW thing is sketchy as hell, but the fighters & the sanctioning body had already agreed to those terms. The belt was still there to be won by Canelo, despite Cotto's refusal to pay his fee.

Whoever Saul fights, it will do good numbers and generate good money. Everyone here *****ing and complaining about "ducking" needs to take a chill pill. These fighters owe you nothing. You guys act like you have some sort of right to demand a fight and actually get it, lol. Be easy little spokes.

If it's at 154 (which I'm certain ot will be), excellent.

The will be one 154 belt, then he can move on to taking the rest.

Canelo made 155 comfortably for non-title fights, he will make 154 comfortably for title fights. If you step on the scales and look full and healthy, you belong at that weight.
Canelo didn't look all that healthy at the weigh-in against Khan. Angulo is definitely not a natural SWW. And isn't being natural to a weight class means that you naturally drain around 10lbs to make weight?
