Yes, I remember that statement from 4 years ago now. No one took him up on that offer then, and he since changed his stance in 2013, after no one wanted it, to wanting to unify the division and would only go outside the division for a big fight.

Let me ask you something. Without deflecting about Froch or Chavez, or eluding to a statement from years ago, can you show how a 160 champ amd a 168 champ, meeting dead even in the middle at 164, is anything but fair?

Oh yea, all I see s people talking about Ward. I mean even in Oakland he's doing numbers.

GGG v Ward will likely happen, but not until Ward is fully establish back and fighting guys not out of top ten.

And it's Ward who says it's never going to happen, not k2/GGG/or his fans.

Using your figures for prime (P), Canelo is currently P-2, while GGG is P+2. That is an equal departure from prime (P). You are suggesting Canelo wait 2 or 3 years until he is in his prime and Golovkin would then be 4 or 5years past his prime. Does that seem equitable to you?

The G-Man not out for Glory,

He's going to fight invisible Ward,
as soon as Andre, gets his brand up to speed.

Maybe because Ward has never fought below 168 even as an Olympian where he fought at 175. Listen it was Lil G that said he's fine fighting Chavez Jr at the full 168 limit and Froch at 172 why do they deserve that accommodation but a more accomplish fighter in Ward doesn't

If Ward-Kovalev outdoes GGG-Lemieux in PPV buys. Does that change the Ward-GGG commentary from the GGG fanbase? Of course Ward needs to win, which is far from a given. But Kovalev is relatively unknown by casuals, as is Lemieux. So if Ward does equal to or a better number than GGG with an unknown dance partner, does a potential showdown become more attractive. Especially if Canelo isn't gonna happen anytime soon.

Every fighter says same crap. Lara said it, but he acts like Andrade and J-rock don't exist. Why, because he wants a bigger name.

When Ward wanted GGG he had just fought at 172, and hadn't fought at SMW since 2013. The entire reason people think of Ward is he has so much size on GGG, they hope he can beat him.

Ward didn't think so, at least not in 2015, because he wanted GGG to fight him in late 2016. So GGG should, right when he is starting to get the titles he's searched for, drop that to fight SMW while tuning up for a guy known not to even fight? The **** he'd do that for.

And give him 50/50 when the popularity of the two isn't equal? The **** he'd do that for.

Exactly, Canelo fans know he's not a JRMW but can't best the top MW, so like Floyd they think he should wait him out. Pathetic.

Such is life... Canelo is the star with or without Lil G. Like I stated before Ward is a lot closer the bum crusher than Canelo that's a big fight why doesn't he chase that one.
