There has never been an offer of any sort and Oscar talks constantly about letting the fight marinate whilst BHop has said GGG should move up and fight Kovalev

Lineage is not affected by fights in the different division. Pavlik did not lose his lineal title to Hopkins, because it was not at 160. By the same token fights below 160 shall not affect the lineage as well. As far as I know, the last title fight at 160 was Sergio vs Murray... After that for all intents and purposes Sergio went inactive. The fight with Cotto was a sham - crippled champion at lower weight. What happened next was worse and worse - drained to 157 Geale and Canelo just one pound above JMW... This "lineage" is like a rotten potato... It shall be thrown to the bin...

Now I know that catchweights happened before and lineage changed hands (or was on the line) in these fights. But it does not mean that I have to agree and recognize this s**t as legitimate. After certain degree it is getting ridiculous...
