They don't want to watch Ward in a mega-fight with Kovalev because of the courage it would display on Andre Ward's part. The GGG fans know that they can't doubt whether he was serious about fighting GGG, when he accepts the challenge to fight the bigger fighter in Kovalev. As soon as Ward climbs throught those ropes, that argument is over! And GOD forbid that Ward actually wins the fight! OH NO! They're praying hard for that not to happen! The best thing they could hope for is for Ward to A) Not fight Kovalev at all, or B) Kovalev puts a beating on Ward, comes back to 168 as damage goods and fights GGG!
    Wise words.

That's fair. Although, if we're being critical of Pac, it needs to be said that he did his best to clean out most of his divisions before moving...& to some extent, the PBF version of Floyd was doing some cleaning out too, not the later diva version.

Manny Pac had won how many titles already by 32? Nobody is saying GGG is the best lb for lb fighter of the decade or anything, he's just the best Middleweight champ since Hopkins...
At least Ward is moving up and challenging himself, and u know that the middleweight division right now is one if not the worse of boxing. What's the merit of being the best Middleweight since Hopkins beating C class fighters, I rather see him fight and beat an Andrade, a Degeale, a Ramirez, even a Lara who I said on a previous post would be demolished, but untill that all is speculation he needs to fight A class fighters and beat them.

ONE fight at 135 vs. David freakin Diaz is "doing his best to clean out a division???"

uhmmmmm, nope. Its "cherry picking titles" at its finest.......

Canelo having no experience at160 is his own choosing. Ward, on the other hand, when given the opportunity to fight at 175, actually fought at 175 against a 175 lber.

I don't think either of them are ready for What they both signed up for, but they both signed up. So far, it looks like only one of them will be the man they say they are.
That's a knockout punch of an argument. When men sign their names on the dotted line of a contract, they are expected to uphold the agreement. Who cares about the business aspect. Ppl don't tune in because a boxer is their favorite businessman.

Why you even bringing Floyd here? you sound dumb, even a Heavyweight would try to go down to fight Floyd, that's a huge paycheck.

Don't try to turn around the argument, Fact: GGG said he would fight Froch or Chavez @168 but Ward @164

What does that tell you? GGG know he can't beat Ward unless he drains him. onlty the truth.

And Froch KO'ing Bute doesn't alter the fact that Bute was an undefeated world champion in the same division as Ward and Ward refused to fight him, so saying he cleared out the division is just not true.
I'm sorry but I think some ppl rank Bute WAY to high. Who did he fight that was any good??? Joppy? Glen johnson?? And he lost to all the good boxers. And personally think Jack was robbed.
