Yeah? Because just saying something over and over again makes it true, even though it's false?

I mean, not only is that title inaccurate it misses the the biggest thing to come out of this interview. Sanchez was actually being reasonable and complimentary towards Ward. Seriously, who knew he had it in him?
The title doesn't explain the context very well...that's for sure.

If Ward wanted to fight GGG so badly, why did he wait till he was put under pressure by HBO to take some meaningful fights before sending Loeffler that bull**** offer last year?

And it says a lot about your blinkered take on boxing that you actually believe that Erislandy Lara would be a BIG FIGHT for Golovkin!
In 2013 Ward was coming off of shoulder surgery and had 1 fight..AND LARA WOULD BE THE BIGGEST FIGHT GGG HAS EVER HAD

Ward was like "I need my TuneUp Tour 2015-2016 but then lets fight at 50-50 (even though Ward cant sell 10 tickets outside of Oakland) and after you get stripped of all your 160 titles"

When was the last time you heard Golovkin bleating about needing tune-ups before a big fight?
Although very true that GGG doesn't ask for tune-ups...it downplays the circumstance that he's also one of the more active boxers out there. Although, not so much this year since it appears that he might only fight 1 more time this year. Unless they throw in an August fight if the Canelo bout isn't made.

Don't compare Ward needing tune ups for Kovalev to anything GGG is dealing with, Canelo is nothing compared to Kovalev. When GGG is in that deep in terms of competition then we'll see.
Weird rebuttal. Ward signed a contract to fight at 175. He can't go back to 168 until the contract is over...& Kovalev isn't asking for a CW...& there's a wealth of competition available for Ward at both 168 & 175...no SMW or LHW is afraid to fight Ward...quite the opposite for GGG. GGG has to chase guys down in order to get them in the ring. Your comparison is off.

The bet was Ward won't fight Kovalev by the end of 2016. Kovaleb ALREADY has a fight lined up for the summer in Russia. Put your account up that Ward won't fight Kovalev by the end of the year?

                    SO what's up?

Don't rule it out. One of those 2 things might actually happen...this is boxing. Years of inactivity might have diminished Wards' skills significantly. Hopefully that Ward/Kovalev fight ends up being that 50/50 bout we all wished for.
