I know you've only got a limited amount of characters for the thread title but seriously..
I mean, not only is that title inaccurate it misses the the biggest thing to come out of this interview. Sanchez was actually being reasonable and complimentary towards Ward. Seriously, who knew he had it in him?Comment

Golovkin had problems with his promoter back in Germany. They also promoted Felix Sturm and kept GGG away from him. Unlike Ward though, GGG kept fighting till he could get out of his contract and relocate to the States.
If Ward wanted so fight GGG so badly, why did he say he wasn't ready when HBO asked them about fighting each other back in 2013?
If Ward wanted to fight GGG so badly, why did he wait till he was put under pressure by HBO to take some meaningful fights before sending Loeffler that bull**** offer last year?
And it says a lot about your blinkered take on boxing that you actually believe that Erislandy Lara would be a BIG FIGHT for Golovkin!Comment

Although very true that GGG doesn't ask for tune-ups...it downplays the circumstance that he's also one of the more active boxers out there. Although, not so much this year since it appears that he might only fight 1 more time this year. Unless they throw in an August fight if the Canelo bout isn't made.Comment

Uhhh no, if Ward was GGG then he'd probably still be trying to collect all the belts at 168 and offering Kovalev a 171 catchweight while being okay with Stevenson at 175.
Don't compare Ward needing tune ups for Kovalev to anything GGG is dealing with, Canelo is nothing compared to Kovalev. When GGG is in that deep in terms of competition then we'll see.Comment

Stop man, stop,Kovalev didnt complain about the tuneups now did he?? Ward signed and agreement and now they are 1 fight away...why is it every time a stiff challenge come up for GGG there are excusesComment

The bet was Ward won't fight Kovalev by the end of 2016. Kovaleb ALREADY has a fight lined up for the summer in Russia. Put your account up that Ward won't fight Kovalev by the end of the year?
SO what's up?Comment

Don't rule it out. One of those 2 things might actually happen...this is boxing. Years of inactivity might have diminished Wards' skills significantly. Hopefully that Ward/Kovalev fight ends up being that 50/50 bout we all wished for.Comment
