I don't think it will ever happen either, unless Kovalev starts showing signs of vulnerability in his upcoming fights

Ward never cleared out SMW. He wouldn't fight Bute or Stevenson and he wouldn't rematch Froch or Kessler either.

No way outpointing Froch at 168lbs, 4 years ago, makes Ward favourite over Kovalev at 175, no matter how fine tuned he is!

And I was a big fan of Froch, btw.

Its funny that Abel doesn't have a name, he's just Golovkin's coach. No one calls Mayweather senior, Hunter, Roach, Garcia or Shield this just the one trick pony Abel.

Very true. If Ward had the same attitude as GGG, he would have fought Kovalev 6 months ago.

When was the last time you heard Golovkin bleating about needing tune-ups before a big fight?

Uhhh no, if Ward was GGG then he'd probably still be trying to collect all the belts at 168 and offering Kovalev a 171 catchweight while being okay with Stevenson at 175.

Don't compare Ward needing tune ups for Kovalev to anything GGG is dealing with, Canelo is nothing compared to Kovalev. When GGG is in that deep in terms of competition then we'll see.

I think you mean to say "Ward isnt Canelo". GGG hasnt delayed any fights, nor has he pulled out of a fight with an injury, like Ward did against Rohan Murdoch. Some people have questioned the authenticity of Wards injury, and believe Ward will 'suffer' another injury prior to Kovalev.

Edit: I mean Alex Brand. Murdoch was the one that was so bad the NSAC wouldn't sanction the fight to happen in Nevada. It was a Brand fight Ward pulled out lf with a knee injury.

If Ward was GGG, he would be fighting 3 times a year. If Ward was GGG, he would have fought GGG at 164.

If you really believe that put your account the line. What's up? I bet money and your account that Ward fights Kovalev IN 2016? Are you that confident to put your account up? I am

Andre CoWard: "GGG should move up and fight me in my division with no tune-ups at 168, but I need 3-4 years of tune-ups to fight Kova at 175, and 3 years later, I still don't have a fight signed with Kova yet"

Andre CoWard has only "moved up" one division and has fought NOBODY... all cab drivers..
