A month after Ward witnessed GGG's destruction of Lemiuex, he somehow can't make 168 anymore and moves up to LHW!To bad your fighter lil g didn't have the balls to be too much for Ward now you dancing on sidelines waving cheerleading flag hoping another man can do what you didn't have confidence for your fighter to do mr 164lbs only for Ward everybody else we do 168 except Froch we can accommodate 172 for him
When was this fantasy GGG/Ward fight supposed to happen?Comment

I know if James DeGale called me a puzzy, Id have been trying to make 168 to beat his azz, belt or not. Instead, Ward running around trying to make a fight for next year with a smaller MW. Maybe James was on to something...Comment

Kovalev is just carrying on with his own business as if Ward doesn't exist. That's all the contract he signed with Ward requires him to do.
Golovkin already had a contract from the WBC that covered the same time frame as the one Ward wanted him to sign. He's headlined his first PPV and picked up 2 world titles during that time frame. Ward is still pissing around with tune-ups.Comment

Not sure why CoWard fans think he'd beat GGG at 168 anyway... GGG would smash Froch or Kessler worse than Ward did...Froch retired running from GGG...
After GGG gives up on Canelo, he'll move up and smash Ward no problem, but by that time he'll be Kova's leftovers anyway...Comment

Exactly. Kovalev was in a better position to accept that type of "wait for it" contract. He was already a super champion at LHW, with the promise of a unification with Stevenson looking very grim to say the least. He really had "nothing better to do". Golovkin, at the time, had his sights set on then champs, Cotto, Lemieux, and Andy Lee. It wouldn't have made sense for Golovkin to agree to a fight down the road with Andre. I firmly believe that had Gennady signed to fight Ward, he would not be WBC champ today.Kovalev is just carrying on with his own business as if Ward doesn't exist. I can hear Canelo little pipsqueak voice now..."I am ready now. I want to fight now, but GGG is set to fight Ward. I keep my belt."Comment

Shame on any idiot who thinks GGG wanted to fight Ward. K2 & Co actually asked for a catchweight of 164! SMHComment

Is that to say that any catchweight offer is illegitimate? What does that say for the fights that actually occur at a catchweight? Are they illegitimate also? That nullifies the last three years of Canelos career off top.
But thats ok, you keep saying an offer to fight this fall (in 2015) at a catchweight is not serious, and cling to the thought that an offer to fight next year (from 2015) after 2 tune ups is a serious offer.Comment
